How many people dknow about Travis Tritt?  HOw bout my boy Billy Ray aka 'achy breaky heart'?  Who remembers Clint Black, Shina Twain, Allen Jackson, Randy Travis, or Faith Hill?   Listen, yall dudes can listen to your rap crap, but I like some nice down home music.  I'm not mad, I just want more people to be honest.  It's 'cool' to not like counrty right?  But it's really what you grew up on!

So, tell me, who is your favorite country artist THAT'S NOT JOHNNY CASH.

This kinda also goes in the confessions thread on my part, but I like Rascal Flatts.

But Carrie Underwood, shes the shit.
Hot, talented, and really hot.

I do, but I'm more familiar with the 60's-70's names in my 8-track collection than with current names.

I heart Hannah Montana! Since we can't say JCash: Merle, Willie, and Gearge Strait are certainly bearable. Country Mike by the Beastie Boys and any Beck when he's feeling that way.

Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, David Allen Coe, Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard are all good. I have a bunch of old country and blues from the 1920's to the 40's, too. I'm not a fan of the new country they play on the radio. I like this band caled BR549. I was into Hank III for awhile, but I've been skipping him on my iPode lately. I like the Supersuckers country album. I like a lot of old bluegrass, too.

you should listen to tyrannosaurus rex, (marc bolan & the percussionist from t.rex before they used electronics) seeing how devendra is an absolutely ripoff of them. and they weren't creeps, like that fellow is.
