Just downloaded some DRI the other day. And, I know they're somewhat racist but I want to hear MOD and SOD, again. See if they held up with age. I use to love them. These days: The Locust, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Cattle Decapitation, Dillinger, Mastodon, Motorhead, Sabbath, Slayer, Darkthrone, Carcass, Napalm Death, Deicide, Earthless, Kyuss, and a slew of others are in constant rotation. Heavy stuff gets me pumped for the skatepark sessions. Makes you wanna charge.

You're probably right. The last time I heard them was a good 10 years ago. I was too serious about stuff when I was younger. DRI was one of the 1st Thrash bands I got into. Prior to them, it had to be hardcore or hip-hop. I give them credit for opening up the world of metal to me.

Man, I remember when I first heart "Return Trip" off Electric Wizard's Come My Fanatics. I still think that song is just about perfect. Not to mention, the art inside the album is great! A naked lady, lying on her back with her legs spread, with her crotch covered by a bong - not too bad at all.

A more recent favorite is that song the Melvins did with Big Business: "A History of Bad Men".
