Made some hatch green chile soup out of some potatoes which needed to be used up before they turned bad. Turned out pretty good for winging it.

just had some kale coleslaw salad from a bag and added some roasted garbanzo beans. cooking those thing in the oven for 20-25 minutes with some olive oil makes em so damn good

What are people's opinons/reviews on air fryers? I've heard good things and am thinking about taking the plunge.

Get one for sure. My first one had an optional paddle that rotated your food while cooking so you didn’t have to flip/mix it up yourself, but it also mangled most stuff you used it on. Just have the normal basket style now but it’s also really solid. You can cook just about anything with it and it turns out great. There’s a learning curve with it, but having an extra appliance that’s so versatile is a lifesaver when cooking up meals with various components. Definitely makes way better fries/wings/etc than the oven, but not nearly as smelly/greasy/dangerous as a deep fryer.

Leftover pizza and leftover pancakes/waffles are better reheated in an airfryer than oven or microwave.

Stupidly didn't think to take pictures but been rewatching trailer park boys and then the neen thread made me want to make some cheeseburgers. Aldi (Aus) has everything real cheap and I'd say good quality. (I'm not concerned about health etc this is a treat) theyre pre made hamburger pattys, brioche buns with sesame seeds,cheese, pickles, made one with classic mustard/ketchup, one spicy BBQ sauce and one with garlic aioli and sriracha. Now I'm too fat to move.

Coca leaves with baking soda. I chew them all day. They completely eliminate my appetite. I only eat 1 meal a day. Either a salad or granola mix with coconut yogurt.

I make loose green tea in the morning directly in a cup and use a bombilla to drink it. I refill the cup with more hot water when I get thirsty. I'm basically drinking hot water in the winter.
