I also vov'd out in typical fashion of myself and did a bunch of tricks down that tripple set of 6 with the yellow rail, and did a few gap-out-to-grinds on the rail

Don't feel bad... I think it's important to vov out a bit... The game's designed for at least a little ridiculousness... might as well play to the scale some of the obstacles are designed for.

Got my first taste of the demo tonight. Stoked. Can't describe much more, feels almost exactly the same except a little bit more "sluggish" as if your skater is heavier than the first game, I was so stoked on learning new tricks, even the ones I thought would look gay were sick

so today I finally signed up for live, tried to download this demo and realized I don't have enough memory because I have arcade system with only 256MB of space.

I saw something about a discount for updating your harddrive on xbox live the other day, and it only applied if you have an arcade. Sounds like a good deal to me.

hmm.. yeah that does seem like a damn good deal

I actually just called up one of my buddies and he said he'd sell me his year old 20gb HD for $20 henced that his xbox is all fucked up..
plus they have 12+1 month live cards on amazon for only $40

so I can either get 3 months live and a new HD for $30 verses 13 months of live and a used HD for $60.......

fuck, I've never been any good at making BIG decisions like this!

im not sure, ive been lurking the EASkate forums hard to see if someone will give out a ballpark, i think i read somewhere that they update the PS store at like 8 in the morning. and does anyone know if they have added the custom soundtrack option to the ps version? i know xbox games you can play your own music and with a couple PS titles you can but i cant sit through another year of playing skate with "SIX PACK!" being screamed or dre's track being censored. "they go runnin to the POT man"

you ever hear the censored version of protect ya neck?
cause apparently EA never has. instead of picking a perfectly suitable already edited-for-radio version, they took the uncensored version and chopped out all the lines with swears in them. not just the curse words, the entire line.

fuckin terrible.

anyone with a ps3 that doesnt want to wait: make a new account on your ps3 and when you go to the store itll ask you for information, just claim you are from europe or japan and it will let you download the demo. im about to do this so ill get back to you on how it worked out

It feels choppy as fuck!!

I guess the doubled frame rate really makes a huge difference.

yeah man the new one is sick. i couldnt get that glitch for the life of me though and the timer made me beyond angry. i played it for quite a while and kept having to go through all the bullshit to play it each time.

I couldn't get the glitch to work either, just ended up bring a lotta bones somehow. Really liking the better frame rate. Running around needs some getting used to because it's not like any 3rd person game I've played but it's sick. Fuck the timer and having to make someone. I'd rather have it make me choose between 2-3 pros and go at it.
