I had the blue ones too but for some reason I killed 'em quick 'cause of the way I ollied at the time. Just straight grip tape to canvas, like a pair of chuck ts.

Ah, damn that takes me back I remember seeing footage of Jamie and some other people rockin them when they first came out black with white laces, I always thought that was proper steeze, all black with white laces...strombollies, cobbnobblers and sal 23s were by far the best skate shoes ever, together totalling probably my first like 20 pair of skate shoes...I could go on for daysss, I'm sure we all could...

I remember having those, and having sooo much trouble skating shoes after that b, I "needed" that rubber toe cap. I don't remember them being sooo ugly, but that was 1997...

I had the blue ones. I was so stoked when I got them, I went straight to the park to skate with the new kicks and rolled the shit out my ankle in the first 5 minutes. Ended my summer a little early.

Never skated them again. They went straight to work shoes.

I had JT's first Circa shoe ages ago.
Back when skate shoes and b-ball shoes were damn near the same.
Lace loops and air heels... anyone else miss that?
