kickflip frontside 5050s. I've always been sorta scared to try them but if you just go for it, it's really easy

Kickflip 5050 baffles me. B/S is pretty easy, but F/S is intense.

Kickflip front 5050s aren't that hard, you just have to pop far away enough from the ledge to allow the board to flip.

An injured arm has allowed me to fill a few gaps in my flatground game: got half cab heelflips & fakie varial flips the last few days. Also, in a game of skate, landed my first double kickflip since probably 1989 - but I don't expect to be doing that one regularly. Ugly stuff.

Somehow first try I landed a f/s 180 switch 50-50 half cab  pop out. Then I did it again, but with a fakie pop out.

Switch frontside flip.  After trying them for 18 years, I finally figured it out.

Is there a secret other than just leaning forward? Kickflip bs nosegrind has been on my wishlist for a while.

Not so much that I learned it, as much as they started feeling comfortable...switch and regs backside 180s, I never really fucked with that and always liked doing frontside more but in the past couple of months backside has started seeming much more natural. has this happened to anyone else? I've always been able to do the trick, just haven't really felt like it was more natural than frontside before...

That happened to me too. Like right when I started to learn b/s 180s, they were very uncomfortable. I'd still do them but I'd always prefer f/s 180s. But gradually, doing them backside just started to feel better and I can't really explain why. It was like once I learned how to pop them really well and the different ways to do them, my mind just flipped a switch and chose backside over frontside.

i had a really good skate the otherday. on this tiny 1/4 i was trying to learn fs sugarcane's and i managed to roll away from 2 over a very long time period, but whilst trying that i over turned and pulled off a 360 ollie and also fully learnt lipslides, which is quickly becoming  my new favorite trick to do on ramps

Frontboard shove and nollie frontlip on my flatbar.  I hate flatbars, but I'm forcing myself to learn some new tricks.  Relearned nollie back heel on flat.
