it took me a while to think about it but I would always flick my front foot out in front of me but if you do it more off the nose it flips better. They still feel awkward.

i got really close to learning nollie bigspins with a revert after you catch them (i think they're called nollie gazelles or nollie biggerspins) over the hip. i kept landing with my feet in position to do the revert, i just couldn't seem to whip it around as i was landing. i kept doing the revert a split second too late and it felt and looked regular.

Anyone figure out FS 360s? I can't do them without a little pivot at the end

the way i was taught how to do them is basically you try to keep your back foot straight for the first 180 and then shift it so your regular front foot is straight for the second 180 of the trick. i think that's what gives it that dip look when people try them. if you don't straighten out your front leg you'll end up going 270 without the chance of a pivot. if you don't bend your back leg on the second 180 you wont be able to get the pivot if you need it. i dunno if that helps, but that's the way i look at the trick

last "new" trick that i was messing around with was regular bigspin heels. it kind of felt like the pop was all pressure and i wasn't really flicking the variel heel part. i'll learn front crooks and nollie back heels one day

I can't find the trick tips thread but has anyone here front boarded through a kink before? Do you just hit it like a normal rail and go with it? The rail I'm looking at is pretty small, the kink looks doable. I'd just like some advice before I fuck shit up.

Try it a few times and get the feel of it, and make sure you look over your shoulder when you're doing the front board.  I know some people who do front boards and face completely backwards and you don't want to be doing that on a kinker.
