Tried some fakie varial heels today and then suddenly I found Fakie fs big heels very logical and proceeded to land 5-6.
Weird, never even tried it before.

Also did my first switch fs 5-0

I always make fun of combo tricks but for some reason I learned BS smith to back tails.

Then I did FS smith to front tail but that felt stupid

im not really sure what you'd call it, but ill try to explain. approaching the ledge switch with it in front of you, frontside halfcab to regular back 5050. i really, really wanna learn it to back nosegrind or overcrook, but ive already come to terms that its not happening in this life time.

Sick. You don't see that one very often. I saw a guy do a really good one at the skate park recently. I tried a couple later that day going embarrassingly slow and they terrified me. Just felt so awkward to commit to. Didn't come close.

Wow thats awesome. I usually hate any 50-50 ledge trick but this one and the ally-oop 180 50-50's are amazing to me.

I finally learned BS bigspins. In all my years of skating I could never do them right until now. Everytime I would try to spin them the board would always primo, but I finally found out how to spin them right. I found out that it's all about putting the right amount of pressure on your back foot when you scoop the tail.

Ha - exactly the same for me. Just this year finally got frontside flips feeling really solid & proper after years of doing really shitty-looking, barely popped ones that I only landed once in awhile...

I didn't know anyone trying em in 86 tho - you were ahead of the game...:)

NOLLIE FLIPS, so fucking excited. I never talk about my tricks in a possitive way, but the first one I landed, I popped it super good, it sounded so nice, went real high, flicked it straight back, it flip straight and slow, caught it bolts, and stomped it. Dude I never been so happy haha I just got switch heels again(I lost them for a few months)

Landing primo... on my shin
I actually yelled fuck after reading this

After the longest time not being able to do them, I learnt front shuvs in regs, fakie and nollie.
And I just figured out a technique to pop my half cab heels higher and make them all round nicer looking, stoooked.
