I actually yelled fuck after reading this

After the longest time not being able to do them, I learnt front shuvs in regs, fakie and nollie.
And I just figured out a technique to pop my half cab heels higher and make them all round nicer looking, stoooked.

Spill the beans. I think my back heels, heelflips and half cab heels are my highest tricks, so I wanna see if I'm doing anything you figured out.

Nose bonks, Impossibles(might actually be doing a 3 shuv, either way it feels good) and I rediscovered front crooks. I've been trying to learn wallie back 180s but I'm not sure when to turn my body. Like sometimes I try to turn my body while I'm in the wallie and sometimes I try to turn 90 after the wallie and just slide the rest of the way. The 90 thing seems like a better idea.

I changed the way I angled my front foot so it's pointing slightly in the direction towards my tail, whereas before I kept my front foot straight and for some reason that made a massive difference as to how high I was able to pop them whilst keeping it under control, seemed to flip so much better and felt all round more comfortable, strange how skateboarding works sometimes.

it just amazes me how you're just getting front shuvs down (I trick I consider easy as balls and could do all the variations in my sleep), and you  have bs/halfcab heels on lock, which is a trick that makes no sense when I try to do it. fuck halfcabs heels to the moon and back.

I'll try your foot angle thing, though. I dunno. fuck

It's really interesting how skateboarding works though huh? One of the locals who has hardflips down can't pop shuvit for his life, shit baffles me how something that I consider such a basic trick is so much harder for someone else at such a higher skill level, it's one of the reasons I love reading the "basic shit you never learned" thread, so many interesting posts from people who can't tre flip but can switch hardlip etc.

Just learned switch fs heel proper. Fs heels are the most fucked up thing though, can't do them regs to save my own life! As someone above mentioned, the learning curve can be fucked up. Never learned regular heelflip until recently as well.

i got a two trick line i was really psyched on.  fakie pop shuvit, pop shuvit front 50.  it felt so easy and clean.  i haven't landed a shuvit 50 since last august.

also got fs powerslide nollie shuvits today.

aaand a funky nose stall into a box popped over with a back leg boneless job... yeah pretty funky.

For those that are doing/learning front heels, have you tried turning your font toes a little inward? That little trick unlocked frontside 180 and, varial heels for me.

Bs tailslides on decent sized tranny. Would love to be able to do them on ledges/rails. Really need to try that. Did a varial heelflip today as well, it felt really nice once I got the flip to work

Was just coming in to say I finally got BS 360 no complies back.  I've never had them fs though.

They're as easy as a fs 180 no comply, just spin more I guess? it works for me.
