I remember there being some thread a while ago about dreaming about tricks and then all of a sudden understanding it. This happened to me today with switch heels. Last night I had a dream me and Antwuan Dixon were both trying to switch heel this gap. In the dream I felt comfortable doing switch heels and everything just felt right. Today I went out and landed a switch heel first try. It was ugly but considering the fact that I could barely get the board to flip before with switch heels I was pretty hyped.

God I love "dream skating," helped me get over my fear of lipslides expect Twaun wasn't my coach, but that was a long time ago.

Same thing sort of happened for me. I had a dream when I first started skating that I was riding through this ditch and I felt so comfortable on my board. Next day I went into my garage and landed my first kickflip in a couple trys. I had been struggling with kickflips for so long before that. Weird how skate dreams are.

Not trying to be a dick here or take anything from what you learnt, but that is a feeble to fakie. The same way a crook to fakie is not a crook 180.

I fucking wish. In all seriousness I want to see some footy or a part from a member of the workaholics crew. Imagine Ders or Blake busting a hardflip in the bear suit. On a related note I landed my some hardflips for the first time today  ;D

Finally rode away from some nollie flips. I had to break that shit down like an equation in order to understand why I wasn't landing em. After some slight weight distribution changes and some foot positioning changes I finally started landing some. I also learned how to switch ollie gaps.

Almost got blunt kickflip fakie on this volcano quarterpipe deal at a skate plaza, but got broke off at the end of the session while almost landing it. Icing up my knees today, hopefully I can pull it off on something soon.

Sounds like some sick shit is going down, dudes. I learnt half cab backside blunts on about a 4 foot quarter yesterday. Landed two. Was unbelievably stoked.

Pop shuv reverts. Haven't got them on lock but when you catch that shit and just get that revert straight down it feels so good. Such a fun trick. Also front disasters but with a revert instead of a 180, still learning yo.

Learned casperstalls on banks, ala the gonz in the old real vids. Feels fucking awesome when you can catch them balanced, and pop back in the bank.

I'm not sure I understand, like a frontside ollie but no comply first? Sounds kinda hard.

Basically. I ended up landing a couple today but none of them were that good. I aslo learned switch blunts, spaghetti westerns, stapleguns and halfcab staple guns, frontside smith to rock fakies, and i don't really know what to call it, but  you roll up fakie and spin backside into a backside feeble and then I turnde back around hurricane style. That was all on transition, but I also inadvertently learned kickflip lips while trying kick flip back smiths. It was a good day.
