Does this mean you've also mastered turning left, at least 45 degrees anyway?

I have front tails but only on ledges. Finally manned up and tried it on the flatbar. Died the first time, went into a front lip and you already know whats next. But kept trying, until I actually got the hang of it. Still scary to me but I was pretty stoked nonetheless. Looks gay but I was pretty happy.

FS Flips off of little shit ;D Not much but it's a massive improvement over never being able to do them on flat.

fs hurricanes on small tranny, feels good just shoving my board and lower body up into the hurricane and leaving the shoulders where they were.  grinding more than six inches feels like the craziest thing

Sounds like you're not leaning as far forward as you should be. Olleing harder into the trick should help you with this. When I first started doing nosegrinds I would try to be delicate when laying my front truck on the ledge and my back truck would always clip. When I started olleing harder into nosegrinds I feel like it helped me power through the nosegrind and would cause me to lean more forward than I was before. Don't lean retardedly forward when trying nosegrinds though or you'll most likely eat shit. Also if you don't know how to do it already try to learn those nollie pop offs when riding off curbs. I did these for fun before learning nosegrinds so when I started doing nosegrinds the motion of getting out of it felt natural. Hope this helps and made sense!

proper backside flips finally! ive been able to "land them" forever but never until today have i ben able to catch them and actually turn the board late as im ab to land to make it straight, instead of how people just do them and land crooked and dont really roll away.

also i almost learned regular fs 360s (cant do switch) poppin them all the way around, then i stopped trying after landing a few every hundred tries, and now theyre even harder for me. i could prob do one in a game of skate but cant get them anywhere near 1 outa five tries. id say 1 outa 10-15 ill land, and its been that way for a year. its the only trick ive ever just stopped and hasnt gotten easier on me.
try to remember, forget

Try to do the first 180 as quick as possible then concentrate on straightening your front leg/pushing your front leg towards the ground.  If you've turned your shoulders enough, you should swing around almost the entire way.  I learned them on banks first because you'll learn the straighten motion easily. If you do it right, you'll pivot on your front wheels the rest of the way.

Sort of back 360's, they are really back 180's with a 180 pivot.

Embarassingly I just learned back 5050s properly. It used to be that I could kickflip into them then I slipped out of one one day and fell onto the corner of the box and didn't fuck with them again for years until I forced myself to learn them properly the other day. Such a nice feeling trick to do I'm kinda bummed I've missed out on it for so long.

I too only recently got to enjoy proper back 5050s. I'm hesitant to say I learned it but I slid a sketchy front blunt on a little flatbar at my local park. I think they could be in my future

Front smiths and I finally got proper front crooks. I've had front crooks for awhile but I just recently learned how to do ones that are consistent and actually feel good. Popped out of one yesterday and nearly came in my pants.
