Front smiths and I finally got proper front crooks. I've had front crooks for awhile but I just recently learned how to do ones that are consistent and actually feel good. Popped out of one yesterday and nearly came in my pants.
I used to have front crooks really good like tweaked and could grind them long. One day I landed on the top of the ledge going fast and the top of the ledge was super waxed and slipped out and almost broke my wrist. I finally got the courage to start doing them again and landed a ok one yesterday.

I used to always land on top of the ledge and slip out on front crooks, shit sucks. Now when I do front crooks I just imagine I'm about to do a front nosegrind and then I tweak the board to the side when I'm about to come in contact with the ledge.

I swear I do the EXACT same thing. That's how I even learned them in the first place. I didn't understand it for so long.

Nosegrinded the lil 6 stair rail at the park. Never tried it on a "handrail"( it really isn't, but you know what I mean?). It was scary at first but felt pretty cool.

switch front 180 to front 50-50,nollie backside 180 out. So basically a switch frontside 360 with a 50-50 in the middle, it's a lot of fun!

Proper switch ollies down stuff, and been working on not having the weird squat style. So far it's worked out to my advantage.

Go fast, you can't do smiths without good speed. Oh and put all your weight on the back foot, front foot just keeps the board in place
