been getting halfcab noseslide 270s lately.. feels so good

Have been trying this, or variations of it forever. I still can't quite grasp doing any trick out of a grind or slide.

Back smiths and nosegrinds on rails. Stoked on both but probably more on the back smiths because of the fact that ever since the first time I saw Mike Carroll skate I've felt like I would never be happy unless I learned that trick.

I learned front smiths on transition, but I have to pop into it. I imagine having to pop will be an issue when taking it to taller tranny.

popping into grinds on tranny is sick!

got a few fakie bs nosegrinds, the proper ones, no scraping the tail/nose. i love to drop switch off of stuff. i have to learn more switch/fakie ledge tricks.

Varial heels, for some reason they're harder than inward heels for me. Snow finally melted so hopefully I can start taking them down sets.

You gotta twist the shoulders mid slide and get ready to huck your back end around -

Also learned Kickflip Front Noseslides the other day. Psyched.

Learned switch front 360's the other day. Not the sloppy pivot ones. Full rotation. Also, nollie b/s 360 heels.
And switch f/s bigspins.
I can't understand why switch is so much more comfortable for me as opposed to my natural stance, but whatever. I'm not complaining.

I turned my sperm into another skateboarder.  My four year old son taught himself to push today.  No mongo pushing in my house.

that's a dope trick...I've been trying to get just noseslide 270's and can't figure them out. Just recently learned noseslide fs270 shoves and half cab fs 5-0 fakies on the mini ramp

More like re-learning since all my surgeries a year and a half ago, but finally got nollie 360 flips again. Popping them pretty good too.

back 3 no comply and cab no comply. These have eluded me for so long but once the trick to the trick clicked it was a bit of a eureka moment. I haven't stopped doing them since.

back 3 no comply are so fun.....I can only do like one out of 10 though, which is frustrating.

anyways I just learned those sliding frontside kickturns Hewitt does, fun as hell!
no idea what they're called though. Is a that a cessslide? any old vert dude around to confirm?

Cab no comply? I wouldn't even know how to try that... Does it go between your legs or what

Do you set your feet up differently for the ollie than you would for a regular smith? I tried to put my foot farther back than I would for a regular smith so my foot would be in a kickflip position when I land in the smith but then that method just fucks up the smith for me.

Recently I learned late front shuvs and today I did some trick where I do a late front shuv with my front foot and the board kinda raps my foot like an impossible but I'm not sure what it's called.
