Haven't skated in months but inward heels, regular and fakie, were the last tricks got. Felt great to finally get them. Fakie inward heels and hardflips were tricks I was trying when I was 6 or 7. Got them at 23 and 24. So now I've done every (non-switch) basic flip trick. Was working on front 3s and was getting close but I quit.

I've been watching Fully Flared a lot lately and I got inspired to do some more technical stuff.

I learned frontside boardslide 270s and backside 5-0 kickflip out

i actual grinded a b/s 50-50 today that wasn't a slappy, pretty hyped. i learned the ones where you jump backwards to get onto it, surprising i didn't hit my heels on the way up even though my shoes stick out because they are a size bigger.

Dope. When I couldn't do these they didn't make sense for the life of me. They started making more sense when I thought of doing mini back 180s to get onto the ledge with that little scoop, instead of jumping backwards. Eventually it just becomes a back fifty instead of thinking of all of that. Now I do them more than even front fifties.

Spontaneously did a long-way fs 180 over a hip today. Don't know why I never tried that before. Always liked landing fakie in a bank.

Yeah, I guess that would be an alley oop. I was a bit hesitant to use that word since it has vert connotations (in my mind).

no such thing as 'long way' 180. what i think we have here is a case of 270 or some fraction in between.

nah dude, i think he means alley oop/hard way. its still a 180 just turning the other way..  rolling up to the hubba frontside a back 180 over it would be the natural way to do it. he went frontside over it instead hence the long way/hard way bit

If you want to be real pedantic, sure. Have it your way. To me that 270 shit always sounded stupid and needlessly specific.
I just translated it directly from Danish, I usually just call it 'fs ollie den lange vej rundt', 'the long way around'.
