Slappy hurricane on ye olde double sided curb. Yes, I employed rails for my strategy. I came out forward. So awkward. First real 100% new trick in ages.

Makes sense, more time to get them around! Still haven't gone past four foot with them, but this is encouraging!

shit i've been trying to relearn tricks lately, growing fucking two inches every couple months fucking up your balance doesn't help the skating at all. but recently i popped a half cab off of a 3 stair and i got my manuals re dialed, still can't do anything out of them though.
have you guys ever had that problem where you used to be better but you never stopped skating in between then and now but you're worse? thats where i'm at right now.

Take a week or two off. My wife and I had our first kid 4 months ago and it kinda made me take a break from skating everyday (I was exactly where you are with not getting better) and it did wonders for me. I think it's that after a break I was super keen to try new tricks. Now I feel more consistant than ever, and thats saying something for a 31 year old.

Learned b/s disasters on legit quarterpipes, didn't even slam in the process. They feel great, can't wait to swing them into b/s lipslides and then learn b/s tailstalls and tailslides.

That backside 360 no comply trick. I know everyone hates no complys now but they're fun to do off curbs

Must feel great to do them off curbs.  I could only do them on flat, now I can't do 'em anymore, only 180 ones. I don't know what happened.

Trying to learn how to do wallie nollies any tips?

I learned these the other day and I think it kind of helps if the wall is slippery. Also learned nollie front crook to fakie but still cant grind a regular front crook very far, nollieing in is a million times easier for me. Almost got switch back nosegrind 180, gonna try again today if it dries up. Still need to pop my bs big spins without landing primo, seems like everybody has that trick but me

I haven't skated in a year. I've had a few career changes/failures, a relationship end, was drinking a lot, being a miserable fuck.

I skated a parking garage by me for 30 minutes right before a snow storm is supposed to hit here. Had so much fun and all I can think about is trudging through the snow tomorrow and doing more heelflips and fs shoves again.

I got a slappy noseslide to crook, which I've never done before, and I came really close to landing a few more of them. Popping out of the noseslide was easier than I remembered when I tried it before, but keeping the board from shooting away from the curb was hard as hell.

i almost had boardslide front shuv out on my flatbar today, but i couldn't get into the zone on tricks though because some faggot ass little fat kid blowing bubbles wouldn't shut the hell up, even my front yard is a shitty spot to skate.

Caveman nosegrinds. Had Andrew Allen on mind while doing them. It's a cool looking trick and lots of fun. Easy to mess up and look silly when you lead with the wrong foot though or at least for me it is.
