I learned front 3's on a pyramid hip. It's so hard for me. I just kept hitting this wall at the 180 mark. I couldn't turn no matter how hard I was trying. Then I started winding up and throwing my shoulders, it felt so uncomfortable- but shit, it worked! It was the coolest feeling ever! Can't wait to try them on flat!

I give so much more props to Jeremy Wray and anyone else who can front three- insane shit, it's so hard.

I got a couple decent kickflip frontside nosegrinds last week. One of those tricks I always love seeing but never thought I'd do. Felt really good.

sw bs 180. this was hit and miss and has become a no brainer to the point it feels better than normal ones. i kind of overturn them a bit and have to dance em out a little bit. trying to get a sw bs 360 down before summer ends.

frontside tailslides.  i had the hardest time even popping and landing the tail on the ledge, but i had a revelation one day where I started trying to just land into a tail stall.  Once i got this regularly I started going faster and faster toward the ledge and eventually today I locked into the tail slide a number of times.  stoked to keep working on it and eventually work on the backside tailslide.

Slappy ss crooks, so easy when you figure that shit out, dunno why i kept struggling with it for years. Might be my first trick ever that after landing first one i was able to do them every try.

Nollie 180 switch crooks. I find it so hard to pop out of any crooked grind, can only drop of the ledge when it ends of 180 out, very frustrating.
[close]

Did you get them by accident while doing nollie tails? That's how I got them, and really the only way I can still do them. Just an over turned nollie tail. I also have to fall off the end. No hopping out for me.
i pop out these back to regular without thinking, lucky me ^^

Ugh, I was trying nollie 180 switch crooks for an hour straight last night. I got into and grinded 10 or so for about 3 feet, but I just couldn't get out of any of them. Falling off or popping. I landed about 20 fucking nollie tailslides while trying them.

About 6 years ago before taking a skate intermission I could do inward heels consistently. Today I got them back relatively frequently (1/5 or so) and landed a few fakie inwards as well, which I've landed maybe 1 of before. I think I find them easier than regular inwards now.

Really want to get them on a bank

I've thought about trying this trick numerous times but always forgot about it. Today I learned a trick where you ollie into a nose manual but right away, basically instantly do a nollie shove it. Dumb, but super fun and I want to do it to manual on a manual pad, or across something nosebonk style.

i kinda got some 360 pop shove it action going on, also kickflips out of manuals, and hardflips, bigspins, and frontside flips are still being a bitch to land, my bum ass back leg won't land on the board

I really should get around to learning hard flips, they're such a rad looking trick.

In over 30 years of skating, no trick gave me so much problems as a switch BST. I can finally say I got one under my belt. Time to take it on something higher in the streets. Got my fakie crooks back too.

Just saw this, oops. Nope, I was actually trying them. I think of it as a nollie tailslide but before I lock in I dip my right toe down(I'm regular) and that helps the truck lock into the grind, then I sit on them and hope to grind more than 2 inches and roll away haha. Can't even do this one anymore, was fun while it lasted.
