I landed an insanely ugly impossible today. Never landed another the entire time I was skating today but I’m stoked. Just need to tweak some things I just don’t know what.

fs 180 fakie nosegrind? I call it to switch 5-0, to 180 out. like a fs 360. I slid the last 90 degrees and didnt roll away, just stood there, but it counts for me. Its a land.

I only learn tricks that are listed in Ugliest Tricks threads. I've done other stuff into tailslide then did this out, but I think it is the first time I ollied into it. If you'd like to learn more my autobiography is available in an airport bookstore near you.

Pretzel 270s, nollie flips, and nollie heels out of bs noseslides all within the past few months. So glad noseslides are cool right now because they're all I've been doing.

I know its dumb but i learned how to backside ollie a hip at the local skatepark yesterday. I did it 5 or so times, while its not pretty-- its locked in.  I was so pumped on it.   Ollieing into steep (for me) transition terrifies me.  shout out to the dude from kinetic skate shop who was randomly in town last night for helping me through it.  if any of you are in Delaware give that guy your support.  hes good people.

I still have not worked out how to Ollie on tranny, fs or bs it doesn't make a difference to how inept I am with them. I can do little airs when doing fs and bs disasters but not at all in the transition if you get me, so props and any tips would be Most Shalom.
Any transition terrifies me to this day- I think from having not grown up with any easily accessible to me. Having said all that i have learnt a few tricks on a 3/4 foot quarter in a newish indoor park in my town. Lots of basic coping tricks and some that I'm still hyped about; fakie bs pivot/crook stall to rock (fs and bs), fakie bigspin fs 5-0 stall, pivot to rock, switch fs grinds, 180 to switch 5050. I'm sure I'm naming some of these wrong but hey.

i landed a nollie flip today
Still the bane of my straight 8. Kudos!
I'm going to argue that Placebo owes their entire career to a Canadian dude's skate video part. Appleyard should be getting royalties for this shit.

fakie 5050 bs bigspin out

not great as it was off the end of the ledge but its just nice to feel yourself progressing.

i'm not great at airs in general but it's generally easier on steeper tranny as it tends to shoot you up more than it does out as you'd get with a mellow transition.

I learned fakie front smith stall backside halfcab to back feeble fakie, that was weird one.

Also recently committed to frontside tailslide front shove & fakie 270 back feeble grind F/S 270 back in (the one Ben Nordberg does) on a 3' quarter. Both felt really good riding away.

That trick was in the top 10 slams for me.  Brutal.

That is awesome. Of all the off the nose to slide on the nose variations (yeah, yeah it's not the nose, you know what I mean), that one has always been my favorite for some reason.
