Slappy crook dumptruck - Slappy crook, grab indy and then pull up and over to the other side. It’s a fun one.

180 powerslides into fakie slappies to foward, frontside and backside. Just took a perfect curb to get them going.

I’m old so no questions on legality here…riding up a double sided curb cut locking in to a short, for now) backside smith. I figure I can’t slappie or ollie in to them, might as well get it any way I can. Man, they feel good.

Landed my first inward heel today but it was not real
[close]

Just like your ideology!  ;D
[close]

Just cause you don't like something doesn't mean it isn't real, you idiot
[close]

When I said it isn't real, I meant it doesn't successfully exist anywhere in the world, and the possibility of it successfully  existing is purely utopian and not based in reality.

That's got to be the worst opinion I've ever heard. Study the history of world war 2 and inquire into what happened at a little place called Stalingrad. This was the most important battle in world history and turned back the fascist offensive that would have overwhelmed the world. The country responsible for this was set up based on ML ideology. Q. Seriously dumb. Do you think Russia could have won that war if it was still organized according to feudal ideology? Communism and the 5-year plans allowed the Soviet Union to develop the industrial base that eventually enabled it to defeat Nazi Germany. If they had been capitalist or if they had been feudalist they would have been too weak.

Switch front heel
[close]

Nice! I have been working on those off and on for almost 10 years with very little success.

I learned nollie fs 180s and nollie frontside tailslides. I also learned switch frontside noseslides. That trick feels great, now I only need to learn it going a little bit faster.

Switch front heel is easier off of something. Try it like that and you will get it.

Yes, i can see that. I‘ve thrown out a few over hips and they seemed doable. I will try them off a bump. I will report back to brag a little when I make one!

Finally learned to hold tailslides instead of doing a short slide and falling off. This immediately lead to flipping out, which felt amazing

Still trying to get front tails back. No matter what I try, how I set my feet, I cannot get into them.

Learned nollie frontside 5050s yesterday. Think it’d be easy to do nollie 5-0s once I get a few more 5050s

Both on embarrassingly small miniramp but felt really good nonetheless.

Front feeble back 270 to regs

Switch bs feeble to reg (like switch feeble fakie)

I sized up from 139 to 159 and a longer WB and it feels like something clicked. Loving the bigger setup after riding 8s for years.

Fakie big flips over a mellow hip, just not a trick I ever spent any time on til this year,

Front heel the same hip,

Working on reg fs bigspin but coming up just short.

Oh and fs cab the hip, dumb but hadn’t bothered to try it before

Back 180 5050 half cab out. Was just dorking around and tried it to nose grind and got perfectly into a 5050 and started trying those instead. Once I get more control I’ll try out to switch.

Learned switch crooks this week.  I was never a big regular crooked grinder even at the height of my skating when I was younger.  Switch crooks feel more effortless and fun now in comparison.

Sorry for digging out an old thread.

I relearned heelflips in mid July and got them fairly consistent now. They are looking better than my kickflips which I relearned a year ago…
I learned switch pop shuvs and nollie fs 180s lately, both still sketchy.
Today I got my first frontside boardslides ever on a really low flatbar.

I am very happy about that progress.

Got fakie heels since the above post.

Further, 50/50 nollie front shuv out and bs boardslides to fakie (only had them to regs).

Also got a few sketchy fs 5/0s but need to learn them properly.

I was working on tre flips and fs tails lately but no breakthrough yet.
why come?

Life is too short to be angry at the Shrimp Blunt intro
