Backside 50/50, they are soo fun to do, way easier to lock for long one than frontside.

Hardflip, I never tried to learn but 6 months ago a friend who can do them very well showed me how he did them, I tried (for the first time) and understood the motion. Fast forward to now, it's been 6 month since I tried one (forgot about it and there are some other tricks that I wanted to learn). A kid at the park asked my if I could do a presure hardflip, I said no but tried a normal one just for fun. It went well, after a few tries I stuck one. It's funny how some tricks can be a battle to unlock and some can come super easy. I'll def work on them next session.

frontside flip and backside flip.
I never tried frontside flip before yesterday and tried a few frontside a year ago during a game of skate but yesterday a friend did both in a game of skate and I landed fronside flip second try and was really close to landing backside flip. Obvisously I need to work on them but I am hyped.
I am more of a heelflip guy so  I never think about working on kickflip oriented tricks.

BS bigspins today, but only if reverting out of the last 90 degrees counts?

Need to get them and me fully spun to satisfy my OCD but I'll take it for now.

Been skating this curb over the winter as it's one of the only spots we have that isn't covered in snow. Recently learned halfcab back 5050, that was a cool feeling trick.

bs tailslides. this trick has always eluded me, but I managed to get a few good 1-2 ft slides to regs. none to fakie yet which is interesting bc for fs tailslides, I always go to fakie.

halfcab flip to fakie, reg bigspin to forward, reg fs 360 to fake, fakie 360 flip to forward, reg 360 flip to fakie and reg back heel to forward - all on bank.

(i feel like doing something on bank counts as a new trick cos you land in the opposite stance to normal and the stance you land in is a pretty major characteristic of any given trick)

In the last few weeks:

Nollie fs and bs 180s. I get nice ones occasionally but far from consistent.

Front shuvs thanks to a tip here on Slap. They‘re so nice. Got fakie front shuvs as well soon after. They‘re relatively easy I just never tried them until I got the regular front shuvs.

Now working on slappy bs crooks, got a few to fakie last week again thanks to a tip from a Pal.
why come?

Started doing slappy crooks recently. Most fun thing to do ever. My out to regs needs work but love doing them.

Trying to get tres back on the regular but constant struggle.

I landed one bs tail a couple months ago. Been meaning to do em more regular but they scary. Even on curbs.

Wanna start doing smiths or feebles but weight distro feels so awkward for me.

Switch Slappy crooks (back to switch, to regs, and shove out)

“Nollie” bs Smith/5-0 red curb, just fun to do cruising/warming up

BS suski on a ledge. Was trying front salad on this flat bar, wasn't working out. It was starting to get on my nerves, so I walked away from it. Started skating this ledge and though about BS suski since it's similar to a FS salad after you get into it. Landed it second try, weird how some things work like that.

Front Boardslides in a miniramp. They're one of those ones that always look mega styled when other people do them, but are really awkward to learn. Actually committing to staying twisted so you're looking over your shoulder and putting loads of weight on the back foot on the way back in made it click for me.

feels good when the board smacks on your backfoot.

i got absolutely fucking murdered trying to fskf a hip on my early morning sesh, so went out to learn a new trick at lunch as revenge.

got fakie big flip second try and ending up getting five or six more.

i've been able to fake tre for a a year and a half - and half cab kf is one of my more consistent tricks - so it wasn't that huge of a suprise/stoke - but it made up for some of the skin i got robbed of this morning.

Slappie K back 1 out and I've never felt so Antwuany in my life. You know the way he rode out of those noseslide back 270s?
