i work at a company that builds seismic imaging systems as a programmer.
it's basically like being a well paid student and my office looks like it's in a building on campus. lots of older guys with gnarly beards and guys with russianish accents and shit like that (which I prefer to the well dressed business douchebag types, spouting off buzz words and business slang, those first and last name kind of assholes "hi I'm bill swarts..."). i'm also working with some school friends of mine that i've known for 10+ years, which is great. i can wear the clothes I skate in to work which is cool because eventhough I enjoy my job, I also find myself
counting the seconds until I can leave, blaze and grab my board:
hopefully this gig will last for a few years but being a programmer is kind of like being a carpenter in that you float from job to job a lot.
