What kind of site do you want to build? If you're going to go with a free service, you might want to consider Blogspot or Blogger.

Seriously though... back in the 90's what we now called blogs were called E/N sites. Same exact thing as a blog. The E/N meant one (or both) of two things:
Everything/Nothing
Entertainment/News

...just in case that's ever a Daily Double on Jeopardy.
