i like the English one better.  watching Americans re-hash the same jokes just doesn't work for me.

Yeah I was just watching the American one yesterday where Michael is going to get a job at corporate but doesnt and then comes back and says he turned it down so people think he's a hero.  Same thing happens on the British one... but they are both good.

Do you guys even know what's going on anymore? The storylines have split, they have different depth of characters and US Dwight could crush UK Dwight with one hand. The humour's not even the same.

People who scream "English is better", still think the queen is holy in Canada. This is why the Scottish laugh at you.

Im not saying the  American one sucks, i just watched it a few times and i knew what jokes were coming and it ruined it for me.  If the new episodes are original, then I'd probably like them, i just never seem to catch it when its on.

That's cool, man. I do suggest you watch the newer episodes. Hopefully this season doesn't get dry.

It's just that the saying "The English one is better" is like posting another Sheckler thread, or starting another tonycox account.

Remeber when they thought the Scranton office was going to be closed down and Michael and Dwight were sitting on the curb at an executive's house to beg them not to close down the branch? Michael asked Dwight for a sip of his Gatorade and Dwight said: "Replenish your fluids." I always say that.

What aboput when they went to that party and Dwight was making sure that the house was structurally sound?

I'm glad they went away from the shock / awkward moment humour from Season 1, and later worked on actual jokes in the second season. Plus Jan is fucking hot with those big ass tits.
