i forgot to add that the actually act of skateboarding isnt accepted in my school but the companies are. i just found it annoying...annoying enough to start a thread on it.

that happened a couple years ago when high schoolers started sporting Spongebob Squarepants backpacks.

I went into a Zumiez a couple days ago cause the girl at the register looked hot from afar.

When i actually went into the store i found out the girl was a dude.

Oh, and the only videos they had for sale were the Ice Cream video and that 411vm bails video.

i made the mistake of going into one in a mall when i was in colorado. i knew that the place was filled with dweebs but i wanted to check them out just in case they ever came to the boston area so i would know what we were up against. it was by far the lamest "skate shop" i have ever been in, and mind you i am from an area where blades, boards, and skates existed. i walked in and the only two things i can remember seeing were yellow visors and a lifesize bam cardboard cutout with a zumiez logo on it. i took two steps in, then i walked right out and made sure no one saw me go in

zumiez is so easy to steal from.

a lot of there pants dont have tags on them, so you can just go in the fitting room, and wear them.

but yeah i know what you mean.

Half the people that work there don't even skate. My friend bought a board there and the guy was fucking up the most obvious shit. He put his trucks on backwards the first time around and got confused when we pointed it out. I was trying so hard not to laugh.

theres one in the mall where I work.........they carry all of the shoes with all-over print on them........id rather go into champs on my luch break and check out the adidas or something..........they try so hard to be legit too like "every zumies has a couch" or whateve the rule is........yeah total skateshop status with the couch bros.......

I went back to my hometown to visit my parents. It was the weirdest thing. For some reason, I thought the whole town had started skateboarding. Everyone was wearing the newest shit. It was just the West 49 and Boathouse in the mall that had been there for a year.
