I would guess that most people here over the age of 18 skate by themselves most of the time (not including those of you are a big part of your scene or sponsored).  It really sucks sometimes, you can only talk to 14 year olds for so long.

all the guys my age moved out or moving out of the hood so nowadays i just cruise to the local spots and skate with whomever.  most of the younger dudes in my area are pretty chill so its not too bad.

Skating by yourself is ok when you got an Ipod, and you have the option of skating with friends. I've moved a couple of times in my life, and at first I always start off skating by myself. I can still do it, but I only last about a half an hour or so, versus 10-12 hour marathons with the homies. It helps a lot to have somebody to skate with, talk skate with, etc. Props to those who keep it alive when their on their own. Shit is raw.
