Any one got hacking\reverse engineering skills?

I have a project at work that requires me to install software on a windows machine and then determine what all was done by the installation. What files were added, COM registraions, registry entries, etc...

If anyone knows good tools for that kind of stuff please post them up. It'd be nice if there was an easy way to compare "ghost" images.
