What kind of coffee do you guys drink?

Do you drink it? What do you drink it with? Do you drink it black?

I like a French roast black, and I need it to function throughout the day. I really hate lukewarm coffee.

Love the smell, but hate the taste. It always makes me bummed when I go to Starbucks with friends, and they get their fancy mocha whatevers, and I just get chocolate milk in one of those juice box looking things.

We had a "Flavia" machine at my old job.  There was like 30 different kinds of coffee, and you just pick the packet you want, put it in the machine, and 20 seconds later your coffee is ready.  It was pretty awesome.

Now that I'm poor, i just make whatever coffee is around.  Nothing beats shitty old man donut shop coffee though.

It's amazing how it could wake you up so fast.

Frenchroast black coffee, or a double espresso topped up with hot water (americano). People that buy lattes and all sorts of crap really piss me off, as they hold up the whole line with their steamed milk bullshit and make good people like myself wait forever.

whole foods brand beans. usually morning buzz, mellow flavor but with a good buzz that doesn't give a head ache too easily

i make the coffee in the best coffee invention ever

this was a wedding gift and kicks ass. you put the beans in and it grinds them up on a timer and then brews the coffee. it's really loud but in a good way that I don't mind waking up too each morning

then I pack it up for work in a cup sort of like this one that allows the morning buzz to be an all day experience

coffee stays nice and warm all day and if I find myself in some lame ass meeting where they're talking about management\marketing BS then I can just sip my coffee and zone out to some solitare on my phone.

can't do the work coffee, it's absolute shit. in college, i pretty much lived at Deidrick's coffee shop but their coffee was a bit too strong for me. used to drink the decafe. also met my wife at Cafe Artist, another coffee place I studied at in school and they probably have my favorite coffee in Houston. The brew each cup to order and you can choose from all kinds of shit.

Have you heard of people roasting their beans in popcorn machines? Apparently, it's huge.

I used to love espresso before work, but after a year, I found my hands shaking on the keyboard.

Thanks for the link, Sleazy, but I'm scared if I go into that store, I'll find Christopher Walken and my life will turn upside down and I'll start worrying about my relationship, but realizing rewinding the past isn't such a fun thing.

I feel you on the espresso BB

when i waited tables I used to make this coffee drink for me and friends before the shift that I called the eyebrow raiser. basically a glass coated with chocolate sauce and honey, a pack of brown sugar and then 3 espresso shots over ice. idea was that you'd shoot it with a straw and it'd get you going like bevis for a while. after drinking your eyebrows would raise up a few inches for a good while and that's where the name came from.

but too much jitters for me these days with espresso and the crashes are gnarly

I go to the same place every-morning,  Coffee and a Bagel.  They have a really strong and dark organic blend.  In the summer, they cold brew their own iced coffee.  Best I've ever had.

I dig my coffee with one ton of sugar per ounce... hehe

I only drink Louisiana-brands... Community Coffee at home (medium roast or in between which is medium/dark) or I drink PJ's coffee which is a statewide franchise. Good shit.

They tell me its when you use more coffee than normal and brew the coffee at a refridgerated temperature.  Lots of coffee shops use old coffee from the day before and just pour it over ice.  Therfore, diluting stale coffee.  Also when coffee is cold the flavor is stronger and burnt coffee will taste more bitter, so cold brewing insures the coffee doesn't get burnt.

I'd probably love to try that mix if I was 16. I seriously can't believe how little caffeine I can take now. Although, a double espresso short is the hot spot before a skate date.
