it all depends on the ramp your skating.

you might find learning early grab airs easier at first. i tried to ollie into them for the longest time then i tried early grab airs. with those the only thing you have to do is lift up, jump, and land cenetered. once you get comfortable with those you get a better understanding of when to pop, when to grab and let go of the grab, and how to ride away

yeah, you just gotta feel it bro.  like fork said make sure you land centered, just watch the gonz, guy, or julien do a frontside air on anything for reference.

Turn your shoulders earlier than you think and dont go straight up the ramp. Go up on a pretty big angle at first, do a fronstide 180 only keep those shoulders turned frontside.  learn front 5-0s before hand too if you want, that helped me learn how to carve and do shit frontside a lot.

If you wanna learn to do them proper (straight up - float - straight down, like barley does them) the secret is to pop using only your leg muscles, don't throw your arms and shoulders or back around. It's fucking hard at first if your not used to skating with just your legs. But when your legs start getting stronger you'll see a whole new world open up to you.

try to do them lower in the tranny.  then when you get more comfortable with the ollie and landing, take them a bit higher on the tranny until you get them over the lip.  i found the secret to doing them is going the right speed more than anything else.

i see a lot of kids trying to do them over coping but its like they're trying to beast it when they don't know how to roll away from a tiny one.  you gotta learn how to walk before you can run.
