There was a ton of dispute over this guy about something and then suddenly he dissapeared. Anyone know what hes up to?

i grew up skating with pat, he was always real good especiallly at doing tricks switch when that was new. i remember the day the big brother guys came through on this tour back in '94.i think that's the day pat actually rigged his job there. his brother lived in LA so he moved out and started working full time for them.

after big brother he was editor for that stance thing that transworld did for bit, then Scion mag. i saw him at a trade show last feburary and he said he was no longer at Scion. not sure what he's up to right now, but he mentioned that he was over working in skating. he's still around though...

for the record. pat also slept on the floor in the world warehouse for a number of months when he first moved to la.
he works for kia now. and is on vacation in australia this week.
i have a full video part of him skating (95-99). it's still pretty damn good.
all on vhs though. straight from lo 8.
someday i will put it up somewhere.
good memories.

ex. line: santa monica sandgaps, '96:
bs flip the sand gap, switch back 180 the bench, nollie 180 crooks the end block.

i actually went w/ him to that tws vid premiere. and it was a rave. there was not one skater.

He gave Ty a bad video review, and in Chomp on This, Ty held his board up in the intro and his griptape said "Fuck Canale" on it.

I have an interview from a Big Brother where Pat talks about it. I'll try to post it one day.

i remember the review and it wasn't that bad except for canale pointing out the obvious gay shit in the video like the rewind/scratch editing and the fact that ty premiered it at a fucking rave. i miss his reviews he didn't kiss anyone's ass just gave a no bullshit review. magazines need someone to review shit like that again i'm sick of every turd video that comes out getting a good write up because people are to scared to offend someone.

oh how I miss big brother, my first issue had John Cardiel doing an indy to fakie on some ramp, way up in the rafters...with a full interview, it felt like a porn mag, with those thick laminated pages, and the nude fresh jive ads.

In the interview where Meza and Carroll were interviewing him, it made pretty much them and ty seem like complete assholes.
