Dag Nasty is one of the greatest hardcore bands of all time.

I really like Embrace and Rites of Spring.  Dag Nasty was also pretty awesome, as was Gray Matter and Marginal Man.  I guess I like all of the mid to late 80's stuff.

besides the obvious dischord stuff which is great i've always loved slant-6 and soulside. the song "swann street" by 3 (or is it three?) is pretty great too.

on a related topic... the glen friedman fugazi book "keep your eyes open" seems like the same four photos over and over and over again.  thirty bucks?  c'mon....

Theres actually two threes. The other one is 3 which is a shitty band made up of the drummer from Coheeds brother. They are almost on the same level of suck as Chiodos but not quite

dischord was and still is the shit. even all the post-hardcore stuff was top notch. lungfish was the last dischord band i saw live. i approve of this thread.
