Anyone remember the I-level skateboards and skatepark/kiddie porn filming studio debacle?
We used to skate I-Level quite a bit. That dude always sponsored little kids who never seemed to wear shirts. Everybody knew though because that was the reason his previous park had gone out of business. Eastern Ramp or whatever, all the southeast vert guys skated it. Anyways Billy Lane, Phil Hajal, and Richard Kirby will always get my sympathy. That guy Steve from atlanta skated for them too. Oh i just remembered Richard Kirby's first prodeck from I-Level was a bunch of pictures of him as a little kid. And they used to have allnight skate things.
Yeah i skated with some kids that were from that town that Eastern Vert was in and they told me he got kicked out of there because of some sketchty shit. Thats why he went and built his compound down in Tennessee.
dude was the biggest kook ever you had to watch a video and read a 20 page book and agree to all sorts of bull shit to skate his park. You had to sign a waiver saying they had rights to any footage you filmed in the park. Hes name was BK everyone called him Butt King i guess a lot of people in the industry already knew he was a sketch ball.
My friend Geoff rode for that guy and he pretty much just got all weirded out and quit one day and would never talk about why.
Nate Jones was on that program for a minute too but that was right before it all went down so maybe he avoided gettin his penis filmed.
