That "Hood" site is pretty rad. I've gotta say I'm kinda disappointed with the Panda Bear track, it doesn't really seem to go anywhere, but the Project Pat/Shout Out Louds one is pretty fun.

And The Zombies are the most...I guess underrated isn't the right word, since everyone knows about "Time of the Season", but they have so many other good songs. "Odessey & Oracle" is one of the most amazing albums ever. You ever listen to The Left Banke?

Zombies cover of will you still love me tomorrow is amazing. But Nah, what is that? Link me, it sounds interesting. The older hood internet mixes are better than their newer ones. Check out the Khia vs Dan Deacon one.

The Left Banke are kinda like the American, lesser known equivalent of The Zombies. They came up in the same time period, and have the same sort of Baroque-Chamber pop thing going. This song, "Walk Away Renee" is like their "Time of the Season". It's what everyone knows them for, but far from their only good song. http://blogsr4dogs.com/shortstory/LB-WalkAwayRenee.mp3
My brother has their "Complete Recordings" cd on his laptop. I'll have to upload it sometime because it's so good, but the disk has become like a collector's item now, and it costs like 50-60 bucks.
