It's fucking awful.
And something about making it look like Ian Curtis (even though it's not really him) was watching the Killers cover one of his songs seems wrong.
And I'm not just saying that cause I dislike the Killers or something, cause uh...I kinda like their first album. :-[

I wish Brandon Flowers would commit suicide. But like, in a way that would make impossible for him to be a hero, say by over-dosing on Baby Heart hoagies, that he butchered himself.

Unfortunate.
I think the only thing I've enjoyed that they've been associated with is that random music video they shot in Tokyo. The music's shitty but parts of that video stuck with me for some reason.

Fuck. There should be some sort of international musical governing body to stop things like this from happening. Same for that U2 cover of house of the rising sun.

i love covers released as singles that are just a different band playing the same instruments and trying to recreate the song instead of doing something new. but honestly i feel that the cover is not worth a thread, or this response

when I went to see Control I was going to sit through the credits and Atmosphere was playing and after that their fucking awful ruined version of Shadowplay came on and I walked out in disgust

FUCK THE KILLERS. my goddamn girlfriend loves them and made me watch an interview with the lead singer guy and he straight up compares the killers to elvis. fucker should be shot dead just for that...
