i am not christian in the least bit, but i have been having some fun going around different businesses the past week or so and making a point to say "MERRY CHRISTMAS" to the employees after i buy something just to watch them squirm, you know how all the liberals and muslims have turned the "christmas season" into the "holiday season" at workplaces nowadays (because you know, referring to "christmas" is just SOOOO discriminatory and unfair to people of other faiths, we should just pretend like christmas isn't the reason we have such ridiculous consumer sales in december, the reason we put lights out on our houses, the reason the children get a two-three week break from school, etc...).

but yea watching the uncomfortable looks and the hesitation (and sometimes refusal) to say "merry christmas" back to me because of their wack, "non-discriminatory", PC store policies is really amusing to me for some reason. i mean, even here in the top of the bible belt in NC, people are almost scared to celebrate christmas anywhere outside of their own homes for fear of being sued or harassed for being "discriminatory". haha, god what a joke.

i understand people believe different things, but christmas is an american tradition that is centered around the concept of hope, help, and generosity. i just don't see the problem with it.

anyway merry christmas to you all.

I knew that there were other people that felt the same way I do. Some people really need to lighten up around the "holidays". It's not like I'm going to sue somebody for hoping that I have a nice day, but that would be political incorrectness at it's finest. I just think that if the public school system recognizes it (and has for decades), but you get scolded for praying, then Christmas can't be all that religious.

it's kinda funny, like, when i think about "christmas", christ himself isn't even near the top of the list of thoughts that come to my mind. and i spent 8 years in a christian school as a young buck.
