I prefer him with dreads instead of Tosh Townend.  Dudes got skill.

Fuck man, they're just throning 'pro' out like a product toss at a demo.  So, let me get this straight.  I get on a company, maybe put out two parts all within one year, and then you turn pro?  I guess anyone pretty much can get it.  What's so special about turning pro anymore?  Am's get paid more than some pro's these days.  But turning pro seems to be given out like holloween candy.  Basically, show up at the front door, and 'here you go'.

It wasn't funny, or clever, or even remotely insulting the first time.
Why would it be the tenth time?

Wrong bro.  If you read the interviews, he didn't fit in the baker roster because of his image.  Plus I'm not talking about his skating.  Just the fact that everyone can turn pro.  And maybe they should have waited another minute before turning him pro.  Can the skateboard market support another flash in the pan professional?  The industry seems to be stretched so thin that they're selling out to companies like Burton.

Haven't you considered the fact that there's a lot more skateboarders in the industry than before?

However, you never know who actually did it first?Or does that matter..?does it just count who actually put it in the video first?I have no idea how modern skate politics works...back in the day you just never did the same trick at a spot if it had already been done, but times are changing and I  am way out of the loop...

i read interviews, he quit baker yeah coz he didnt suit them anymore, because he gave up the drinking lifestyle due to almost dying from drinking, i'll quickly get into the story him and dollin went out drinking and marnell got wasted and the next morning he was throthing at the mouth with white stuff coming out he was in hospital for like a week on a drip and what not, he lost a fair bit of weight in only a week, now he doesnt even drink at all due to being diabetic. bla bla, so he quit baker and was hoping to get on rasta libre then they went under and he got a call from daewon asking him to ride for almost. andrew would of turned him pro awile back and said he could get baker boards for the rest of his life anytime he wanted too.

Although it has nothing to do with Marnell,a skater named Kye Stanley straight nollied over that same rail in a Perth video about ten years ago...which means I have seen another skater do a trick from MJ's whole part.Just the one though...

if you consider 'pro' as in TK pro and birdhouse 'pros', then yes.

but lewis marnell? he's been deserving it for a long time now; great style, tricks and parts. almost turnover in australia just went up by 70%
