Oh...didnīt know chocolate was SUCH a dogkiller...Iīll try and keep elvis away from chocolate, I bet heīd eat it without thinking. At the moment he is so into biting stuff. He thinks biting stuff is awesome. Sometimes he thinks his tail is a snake and tries to bite it. This night he was a bit louder than last night...I think he wasnīt tired enough, so he kept whining and I had to put my hand in his little puppynest. Then after waking up, I took a short walk with him and I was sure he had done his thang(it was kinda dark, so I couldnīt see if he did it or not), but when we came back home, he peed  in the kitchen. I told him that that was wrong, but if you got any advice on how to get dogs housebroken, Iīd appreciate it...
Anyhows, then I sat down on the couch with him and he looked so cute, so I took another video of him...sorry, at one point Iīm making really gay noises giggling like a girl, but hey, itīs a puppy dog, youīd do the same. Oh, and theres footage of him biting his own tail.
Now weīll go to the park again, he needs to go outside quite often...Iīll take pictures!

HEREīs THE NEW VIDEO:
I'll go frontside on some tranny for you.

I think Elvis likes Elliott Smith. Iīm glad he likes music...when I played the guitar, he sat upright and watched me with big puppy eyes.

This thread makes me smile, especially the photos of that cute fella

Don't feed him to much with your hands (at least not all the time), otherwise he'll bite in all sorts of stuff later (chairs, cushions;)

You have to make peeing a really happy rewarding experience. Let him know where you want him to pee. Take him outside to the same spot several times, many times a day and try to sense when he has to go the most, like after waking up. Use some kind of word association like "gotta pee?" in a happy voice. Take him outside to the spot and tell him to pee. Be patient, just stand there and let him walk around and pick his spot. When he goes, make a big deal out of it 'GOOD DOG' or whatever you want to use when he does something good. Take him back in the house to his spot/bed and give him a treat, still verbally rewarding him. He's going to eventually think, wow this peeing outside thing is great!

Your dog is a puppie so Im thinking hes just checking everything out and smelling but when he gets us to stuff and you see him smelling all of a sudden it normally means hes gotta pee.

Yes, I noticed that. He usually tells us either by smelling and tapsing around nervously, or by little puppy peeping noises. Whenever he peed in the flat, I could tell beforehand but I couldnīt get dressed fast enough so he peed on the floor. Weīve got one room with parquet and the rest of the appartement is laminat. He sleeps (and stays most of the time) in the wooden parquet room. Amazingly when he had to pee he went in a laminat floor room which makes it much easier to clean, plus parquet gets really nasty stains from pee. One time when I took a shower he had to poop. He pooped on a newspaper...I was amazed.
Iīm glad he makes the night without crying to much and also doesnīt have to pee or poop. Wow, this is transforming into a real faecal topic...
Iīmm going to post some more pictures and videos, just have to upload them...
raw meat is great for dogs
I heard that too...Iīve been told that cereal is not very appropriate for dogs (they said "wolves donīt eat no rice or corn, the dogs stomach canīt handle that") and that raw meat is getting more popular amongst dog owners...Iīve also been told that the dry food (is that the word?) may contain "everything your dog needs", but it also contains various stuff he doesnīt need. Anyways, at the  moment Iīm feeding him a mix of Junior dry food and wet food. He seems to like it. He eats a lot but I try to give him only two meals a day (plus rewardings for -here we go again- doing his business outside...

Oh yeah, I love that too...he even has some crinkles in his face, so cute!

Hey guys!
Today my girlfriend and I went to this farm to get a little puppy Jack Russel Terrier. He is 9 weeks old, and I thought, since we all love little puppy dogs, Iīm gonna make a Fotothread, where you can see how he grows up and stuff. Right now, he is sleeping like a baby (well he is one so...). It was an exhausting day for him. He left his mom and then had to do the trip on the train for almost an hour and then we bought him a bed and stuff.
Hereīs the thing: We havenīt settled for a name yet. At the moment we think weīre gonna call him Elvis, but if you guys can think of a better name, I appreciate any suggestions!
Ok, and now, since this is what you all want: Hereīs the little Pal, the first pictures:
This is right after we got him, it was cold outside, so  we wrapped him in a sweater:

wheres today's update?!?!? ???

Seriously study up on raw meat if you are considering that. It's really hard to do a home made diet because you have to know what else to feed them to be a complete balanced diet. It takes a lot of preparation and a lot of the right supplements. Supermarket meat as you know is full of ecoli and salmonella, we can't even eat it raw ourselves. I think if you have fresh frozen lamb flown in from New Zealand that would be different.

Ok, here we go. Yesterday in the park I filmed him running around, but I was too lazy to upload it. But now:
"Uploading...

PLEASE BE PATIENT—THIS MAY TAKE SEVERAL MINUTES.
ONCE COMPLETED, YOU WILL SEE A CONFIRMATION MESSAGE."

And here are some recent pictures of the little guy:
Elvis with my girl:

Elvis n me:

Elvis waiting for dogfood falling down from the sky (guy is dreaming all the time):

Elvis on the run:

Later in the evening, we took a nightstroll to the park. In the evening there are more people with dogs there. So he met Sina, a big dog, she was very gentle with him, and he rearded her kindness with biting in her tail and crawling on her back. It was good to see that heīs not an antisocial dog. Then a man came, and with a huge Boxerdog. The dog scared Elvis and he was hiding between my legs. I was scared too. That dog was enormous. On our way back, the neighboors cat walked around in our way, Elvis was very interested but didnīt know what to make out of the situation. So he pooped on the grass.
Now he is sleeping...again...
Iīll post the video as soon as the uploadīs done.

Buy some dog books.  No offense, but you didnt even know chocolate was bad for dogs.  Dogs are the best thing in the world but they are also a huge responsibility and theres lots of stuff to know.  Also training him right when he is a puppy is crucial.

Anyway, awesome dog, enjoy him!

No offense taken at all... I kinda panicked because of that yesterday. I was freaking out thinking I wouldnīt be able to give him a well enough place to live. I realised I never had a responsibility like this before. I mean he is a living creature...I definitely have to read up stuff, you  are right, I  was going to look for books on dogs to educate me anyways...

Oh, just before anyone thinks how irresponsible I am for not having picked up a book on dogs yet, my girlfriend already had two dogs, and Elvis is also her dog, so itīs not like I donīt have any source of information at all...and theres slap ^

she's about a year, they weren't sure of her birthday.  we had gotten fucked by some other assholes at a different shelter, long story, so we just popped in at an adoption day this other shelter was having at a PetCo, and we filled out the application, talked to the people, and took her home that day.  She's been great since.  My girlfriend and I both have classes and stuff, so we didn't want to dive right into a puppy, because we didn't want to leave it home all the time.  Nena is pretty good though, nice and laid back and ready to play when we get home.
I hope one day Steve Austin is walking the street, I throw him a beer, and he stunners you.

the best weekend of my life is when i got my dog....

a couple things we learned....

1) no dog it bed.....crate train your dog...
2) w. our terrier..we didn't really play ball and shit w. them or tug o war...terriers can be psycho by nature and games like that kinda encourage it.....i did it sometimes but sparingly....
3) socialize the shit out of your dog...w. people and other dogs...
4) go to puppy school....but don't go w. your g/f....go separately....you'll get in a big fight...it's good for puppies to socialize w. puppies....
5) w. terriers...the 'come' command is crazy important cause if they see a rat or a squirell they are gone....
6) go talk to some chicks....puppy is like super power.....

How's the puppy doing? Any updates? I came home today and my new puppies were going crazy so I decided to film them a little. I don't know how many dog lovers there are here but just watching this clip makes me so happy haha. Excuse my girlish laughter, I can't help it around them.

Wow, that dog is really really cute!!!
My little elvis is really growing up. yesterday when we were outside, we met a big cat. i decided to let elvis get to know her so he sniffed around and the moment he touched her, she jumped and hit him with a paw. Little pal was scared so we made a move...
What seems weird is, he is 10 weeks old now and already fucks his stuffed animal. He even gets a boner and Iīm kinda weirded out because he is a puppy still and already has an erection. But I read that it happens every now and then...
