Wheelbites
« on: January 28, 2008, 02:55:32 PM »
heujjj,

My setup is an 8 inch board, with thunder lows en 50 mm'ers. My trucks aren't too loose i think. Sow why am i having wheelbites with the slightest turns i make. After 2 weeks I'm allready through the first ply of wood.

Friends that also skate 8 inchers or plus with looser trucks haven't got the problem.

Should i get new rubbers? I don't want to get my trucks tighter because i prefer wheelbites over tighter trucks. But the most I prefer is no wheelbites.

Thanks in advance.

if you dont have access to new trucks, put wax under the the board right above the wheels. sounds dumb but it works

low trucks that are loose will give you wheelbite everytime.

venture mids will work well....

i still use riser pads these days....  i dont care what anyone says they make the board feel better, and the trucks rattle less....

what are you guys telling this kid?!  he said he has 50mm wheels. i skate lows w/ 53mm without wheelbite. id say its a bushing/pivot cap problem.  get some new dohdohs cuz your shits probably worn out.
