I may or may not have accidentally picked up the SLB 97s from a local shop yesterday.

I'm here with ya mate. At least they all fit you properly right? I bought 4 frickin pairs of shoes last month (online) and only one of them fits properly. I'm devo that the eS seslas are a tad too tight for me because they look, and feel, like they could be my go to shoe from here on in... :'(

Any opinions/insights on the State Keys? You can get them for super cheap and I wanted to try a slip on besides the Slip On Pros. Sizing is probably my main concern, just like it has been with any slip on I've ever tried that weren't Vans.

There are apparently two versions? This one feels super soft and loose. More like a slipper than a shoe. Super gushy.

I believe one version has the inner bootie and one version does not.

few heads have bought them on here recently, I just picked up a pair of Madisons and the quality is way above anything vans is putting out these days. Looks like they are putting a lot of thought into their designs too. I'd rock some keys if the came out wit an all canvas version

Yeah, I'll probably cop a pair of size 11s and hope for the best. I haven't had good luck with slip ons other than Vans (sizing wise) so we'll see. Worst case scenario, I'm out $30.

They're actually $22.49, with free shipping. I don't know if that includes tax. (I didn't get any or buy from Zumiez. I just didn't have anything better to do than look it up, because the shit I'm watching on Netflix sucks.)

How high are the State Keys? They look like a low/mid-top but I can't find any photos of them being worn.

I got a pair of these when they did a weartest at cph open, really nice shoe to skate, for one session, then they're done. If you want a skate shoe you should get the xl

I'm more worried about the width. Basically I want to know if I buy a pair my size whether they'll be nasty vagina loose after a couple hours of skating.

I wouldn't skate these beyond my daily trip to the local liquor store on the cruiser board. They're comfortable, for sure, but seem designed to self-destruct practically.
Probably will pick up the skate version, I like the look of the reinforced toe.

They're probably comfortable, but look ugly as fuck.
