Is there a non skate shoe/boot that looks like the Emerica Shifter High Reserve? The shoe came out a couple years ago and is pretty hard to find, but it seems like most boot style shoes like that wouldn't have the same kind of sole

I bought old SB Angus in this colorway when I was teenager and thought they were so dope but I remember someone flaming me on here way back in the day.  Haha oh well. Those AF2 looks so good.

Is the Wayvee a bit narrower in the toes? The Rowans had way too much space there for me.

Yeah, they're much narrower than the skate his I had. Not as narrow as something like a last resort or a con, but far from the moon shoe feel of other vans.

i am wearing chase hawk etnies marana. The marana are probably my favorite shoe I've owned like 5 pairs by now and I keep going back just cause they work so well.

But this specific pair has a weird issue where the inside of the shoe is so slippery. I've seriously never owned a shoe this slippery. I think it might have to do with how the insole has a graphic on it instead of that rougher texture most insoles have. When they were new my shoe would just fall off when i was pushing around. I've never felt rage like landing a trick but eating shit cause my foot slipped out of the damn shoe.

This was a common occurrence in the 90s when we stuffed multiple soles and/or pairs of socks into the shoes to make them look extra puffy. They would fall off all the time, spreading extra soles and socks around. It was a strange time looking back.

It’s snug. The one big thing I’ve noticed is that there is little to no room for you to wiggle your toes up/down. Which I don’t mind, keeps things cinched up the way I like my shoes.  I love the new skate lows but it does bag out a bit.

They feel extremely stable unlike even the old vans "pro" line that could almost feel broken in out of the box. Leather is very good for the price tag. Also, tongue centering straps should m=be mandatory on all shoes.

By the way, the pants are dickies slim straights.

The shoes pants combo is hittin. I love the new half cabs. I got a black and white pair and the Reynolds. The Reynolds seem to run a little bigger because I was able to get a half size down from what I usually wear and they feel damn near the same.
