Damn. Nice hookup from DC, Tate.

Love the Royal Kalis. Classy looking shoe.

Thanks, gonna probably skate the Nyjah after the Kalis shoe to see what they are all about.

these have higher arches than i'm used to but they're really comfortable after breaking in. can't wait to skate them and not deal with ripping laces  ;D

Dekline Tim Tim.
Shockingly this is what these look like after a month of skating. They've already out lasted my G6 that I had a couple shoes before this and will probably end up lasting another couple of weeks! Such an amazing shoe if you like low impact skating. Best board feel out of any shoe I've had in a long time, so if you like thin vulcs this is really your shoe. Perfect right out of the box with really good flick. The only minor complaint I have is the grip, it's a little bit slippery even right out of the box, but that's only if you skate parks like Stoner that are slippery to begin with. The grip did last a lot longer than I thought though. And I can't say enough about the durability of the upper, it's unbelievable how long it's lasted, I expected them to be trashed by this point. I did just pop on these laces though, because I completely went through a set before these.
Will write up another little review when I'm done skating them, but seriously if you like thin vulcs, this shoe is honestly your best option!

PS, the interior on this colorway is all leather so it's not the best summertime shoe.

Hey how did these fit? They run big?

I'd say true to size. They stretch out a bit over time, they felt tight at first but fit perfect now.
Still skating them by the way, can't say enough good things about this shoe!

For shits and giggles I also broke out this old pair of DVS Dill shoes, and these aren't quite as functional. They're also bulky as hell. Comfortable to walk around in, but not so good for skateboarding.

i had these in another colorway about 7 years ago.  skated them about 3 times, and you're right they're horrible, then a seagull sniped my shoe with the nastiest bird shat imaginable, so i just threw them out

Got these on the clearance for $40 at my local shop. Never had/wanted a pair of Supra before, but a couple weeks ago I rolled my ankle, and decided I wanted to try some shoes with a little more ankle support.
Saw these and they seemed pretty nice, good ankle support, and a low profile vulc sole, seemed like it would be harder to roll your ankle over. Haven't gotten the chance to skate them yet, since my ankles still a little fucked, but  from walking around in them I expect them to be pretty decent on the board.

I'll be interested in hearing how those Supra Lizard King's do for you. I've been tempted several times to get a pair. I've tried them on a bunch and the lateral support for your ankles is stellar. It's not so bulky that you have no boardfeel.

They should support your ankles quite well.
My only problem with the majority of Supra shoes is that their soles don't grip well.

Lakai x Quiet Life Camby
Starting to skate these so I put some glue where I ollie, and they feel really good.
I'd say get a half size down, I'm a 10 in the Howard and Griffin, and these fit perfect as a 9.5

@Sweat Stains - where did you get that Lakai sticker on your new board in the Set Up thread?

Did anyone else get chance to skate the Vans J-Lay's?? i had 2 pairs when they originally came out and loved them. I've actually been trying to find some on ebay but they either don't have my size or are waaay too pricey.

$90 is a steep but I think worth it since that toe cap will make it last a little longer.

But wearing these to break them in so I can skate in them soon.
