Hey, what are some shoes that have good arch support in them? Right now I have Lakai Griffins and they feel really good on my feet and I think it's because it has a raised heel in it. I had some sk8 his that felt like poop after a while cause they were completely flat. So yeah, what are some other shoes like that that people would recommend?

Now that I'm in my late 20's, I've had a thing for shoes that I can wear to work and for skating. I wear these seeleys while I'm teaching and they also skate really well.

Have you ever worn them naked, thinking about teaching?

I can't believe I got both of 'em for $10 at a thrift store. They were dirty but a little cleaning did 'em good. Gotta love people that don't skate! They keep skate shoes in decent shape.

Definitely buying a pair once they drop in price.  Even a $10 price drop is enough, they are comfy!

besides one pair of janoskis a couple years ago, I've never been able to find skate shoes at my local thrift shop. I'm still hopeful every time though.

i know, same here.  The thing is all the shoes that would be decent to skate have been circas and vans but theyre all in size 13. The only pairs of skate shoes ranging in the 9-10 range have, and i shit you not, been lakai primos.  I have seen those mother fuckers in just about every style that dropped.  This has just been since i moved to chicago tho

The trick is to hit up thrift stores near a college. I've found pairs of vans and SB's before.

Yeah, those Hammers look killer Tate. Be interested to hear how they skate for you. That's a nice looking package they hooked you up with.

Supra has introduced many clean designs over the last year, I'm not at all opposed to giving them a serious look.

Yeah, I like the hammers. Been wearing them around to break them in. They must skate good, all the Surpa riders on Instagram are skating in them.

If you want to try a supra shoe, try the Ellington. They are sick and lasted me a while.

Tying to find a hi or mid with good impact protection/arch support. I love lows, but too many rolled ankles got me shook. Been in some sk8 his and cabs lately cuz I got them for free but my feet are fried after a good evening session, and I think I'm developing tendonitis in my lead foot.  Dunno if I can do the vans vulc soles any more.

They skate great, I had Ellington's basketball influenced shoe and a pair of the pistols. The soles tend to go bald kinda quick, but they still grip ok, the materials feel really good.
