Can someone tell me what shoe this is? kinda looks like an updated half cab of some sort.

Yeah.  Cab Lite.  I had a pair.  Really grippy and light.  The shape of the toe was divine and so was the comfort.  Didn't last as long as I would have liked though...

Also one of the least durable shoes I've ever had. pretty big ollie hole after the very first day of skating and a hole in the bottom of the shoe after wearing it a little over a week. very comfortable though and good boardfeel.

Westgate's heretics ... I can't remember the last time I've been that stocked on a new pair of shoes !

Comfort of a cupsole with the boardfeel of a vulc. I'm riding on a soggy sheet of jessup and it felt grippy like if I was riding on a fresh sheet.  I can't wait to fully break them in.

I'm sorry but what do you do to get a hole in the sole in a week? Is that even possible? I shuffle my feet around way too much when setting up for tricks but never have I managed to go through the sole in a week, not even close. I don't think that would happen even if I skated 12 hours a day, every day.

I have no idea really. I did skate for like at least 5 hours every day and I rarely take breaks for more than drinking some water, but I've never had that issue unless I've skated the shoes for a couple months straight. Maybe it was just an off quality shoe and the hole probably appeared after closer to two weeks of skating 1 1/2 maybe, but still I thought it was really shitty.

I've had some other Adidas shoes and the quality was really good, so I guess I just got a shit pair or something

I had a pair where I shoe-gooed the ollie area and they lasted me over 30 hours easily. I had no problems with the grip at all, except that it went bald quite quickly but even then it stayed bold for ages before any hole began. I guess it just comes down to how you skate.

Honestly though, no shoes has skated better than these, and this is coming fron someone whose skated loads of OG Busenitz.

The toecaps are fuckin' rock solid... I don't know if that's a good thing but I bought them yesterday so hopefully they'll be fully broken in soon because it's already getting cold outside ...

No problems really, and winters here are dry and cold. The ortholite is also to wick away moisture and leave the feet breathing nicely. This is why the Vans CA line is killing it.

pretty much just cycling between these which should last me until early next year. obviously I've been trying other shit with the shoe reviews and a couple other kicks i got on sale for super cheap but nothing seems to beat the 7's and I've literally done ALL of my very best skating since they first came out so i figure theres no need to switch it up.

peep game tho i know "skateboarding" insoles are supposedly hot right now but i highly doubt theres anything better than these dr. scholls. i got a fluke ass heel bruise thats been bothering me for a couple weeks now but i don't even hesitate to jump down shit in these. today when i tried to kickflip this double set i caught and stuck it primo and that plastic shank guard saved me from ALOT of pain with the gel in the heel & forefoot playing their part as well. remind has a similar insole model with all the same features except its $40 and usually found only online. these are $20 at any general store with a pharmacy. do your feet a favor & pick these up!

Now that I'm in my late 20's, I've had a thing for shoes that I can wear to work and for skating. I wear these seeleys while I'm teaching and they also skate really well.

Wore this shoe on a night out.. Came home at 9 in the morning with the shoe totally ruined (also the suede, even though it doesnt show too much on the pictures). Tried my Jason Markk out and it worked fucking amazing. Really pleased with the outcome!!
