currently skating the Lakai x Quiet Life Indios.  I honestly didn't expect much.  It was cheap and it's a high top.  Like all lakai vulcs, really grippy, and decent comfort.
Once they're done I'm switching to the Vol. 4 Cons (I see you, Nate).

Thought I ordered DC Kremers, but I never finalized it. Ended up finding something else I'm much more stoked on right now, I'll get the kremers during the summer.

Found these on ebay, pretty stoked they don't look like the average skate shoe, shit gets way too boring to look at. Going to shred the fuck out of them.

[close]

They're boots! Weren't made to skate. Look at the sole.
[close]

Yeah so? I know they're boots, but these are definitely skateable, they're flat on bottom and I heard they're really light. I got them because they look like timbs.

If you like em that way who am i to judge you!  ;)

Emerica - Tempster. First pair of Canvas shoes and I can say I am impressed. I used to be wary of canvas anything but these have changed my opinion on it.
How long are they lasting you? i just picked up a pair for $22 which i was super hyped on

A lot longer than I thought canvas shoes would. I am only skating every once in a while due to work/school but the grip is awesome and the waxy canvas is durable. Has barely worn away and I've skated them about ten hours in the past three weeks.

Do any major US retailers sell the Adidas "Not quite skate shoes" like the Pitch, Ciero, and Etrusco? I've never seen them in skate shops but I've never seen them at the mall either. They look alright and I want to try some out but not so desperately as to buy sight unseen from mail order.

picked these up this week, will be wearing them for a week or two before skating in them

They do seem to have sorted the collar out, as so far there's no sign of it being anywhere near the level of uncomfortableness of the previous laced

On my second pair, got the red jawns this time. Literally the best shoe I've ever skated. XLK is the best sole on the market. But I think the best thing about this shoe is the heel lock. My foot is totally locked in comfortably, which is rare for me and most shoes.

I couldn't agree more. For me there is no other shoe that comes close. I have a shoe sickness and I can't even begin to count how many different pair I have from different shoe companies, but the Lakai Howard is far and away my #1 skate shoe. It reset the benchmark for everything a skate shoe SHOULD be. The fit, the sole, the durability, and the functionality. The XLK sole is super dependable and durable.

Got em yesterday in Paris and wore em the while day, they are way to comfy and I can't wait to skate em, hopefully they hold up well!
Might have to pick up another pair.

The fit is perfect. They are a bit thin for my taste but that could probably be fixed with an ortholite insole or something. They skate super good but I disagree about the durability. I blew my pair out, including the sole, real quick compared to other brands. Quality is Lakai's weak spot.

Just bought these new Etnies Highlight...

I was unsure if they would skate good, but i was really curious and they were so crazy confy when i put them in my feet that i had to buy them. The sole is just foam and i found it a little slippery at first (my griptape isnt new) but the flick is actualy better than i expected. Will see how they will hold up.
