Nah, the sole is really grippy and you can skate them straight out the box.

The only problem is they wear out too quickly in the sole, similarly to the Herman.

Still they are really great for skating in, best shoe of the year for me.

You can pick them up for $35 at SW too. I got a couple more pairs just because I know I'll enjoy skating them and care about that more than their durability.

The OG colour ways are also really cool to me. With the embossed writing in the heel. Reminds me of a golden era in skating.

Got them in tan (light orewood), damn those are good, I skated one pair and kept another in the same colourway until i find another pair on sale. I think I could skate nothing but Blazer SE for the rest of my life, maybe they could do a mid cut a bit lower, like comparable to the blazer cupsole they did once and it would be perfect.

What are the KA2's like skate-wise? I'm skating some Lunar Gatos at the moment, and want to find a similar shoe

I remember having a pair of the black and orange blazer cups and they were so incredibly stiff for the longest time. I barely skated them

Thanks to NB# for the weartest shoes. I think the two in the plastic are the Stratford's.

They also sent me the 2015 catalog. I can post some photos later, too.

**NB# Spring Shoes

I don't get jealous very easily, but Tate, this is just pure cruelty showing these bad boys off. Man oh man are they beautiful. Did they give you a street date for those?

If they aren't working for you, shoot me a PM. Let me know and I will buy them from you. Just name your price. I can assure you I will skate the shit out of them. So damn hyped to see both pair. Slap PAL Art Hellman will tell you, I am a huge fan of everything NB# has done, and have bought and skated every shoe they've put out. I am actually wearing Logan 637 right now.

I can only compare them to the Koston2's since it was the shoe i skated before the KA2's - they're a lot more flimsy and not as stiff.. For me i really like them because it reminds me of a classic one piece toed cupsole.

they were stiff when i had a pair too.  total fucking garbage, i resold them on ebay almost instantly.

I had those, and i couldn't skate them for a month, but once they were broken in they became one of my favourite shoes ever. I guess the breaking period was too long for most of the people, but believe me, once they were broken they were delicious, had three pair of those

They're the new Bruin with a soft Blazer toe. Very similar to the newest CTAS. I'm probably not going to skate these anytime soon, but I do recommend them if you like any of the previously mentioned models.

skating a pair of the Cons Polar shoes.?  dont love em (the CTAS that is), but they are good and will probably last me through the winter months.

?  ?

So if I wear 10.5 in normal chuck taylors and 11.5 in most other vulcanized shoes (vans etc) I should be buying these in size 11,  correct?  Never had skate converse...

At least.

I went a full size down. It was a little tight at first but after they broke in they fit perfect.

Skated these previously, with black laces of course.

Anyone tried on or bought the new leather cons ctas? was checking the converse site for fit guide and it says true to size whilst the suede version is listed at a half size long which is pretty accurate, just wondering if cons has altered their sizings in the newer shoes
