Totally agree Tate. The sole is really grippy and gives a ton of board feel. I always thought the sole on the old Stratford felt oily. Definitely nowhere near the grip of the new sole. The Logan is probably still my favorite, but this shoe is just as nice.

I have these in sample pair, can't wait to skate them next. Laced them up and was going to skate them, but skated in Wolf S. These are next for sure.

it's like someone skated them for 3 months before you put them on.  the toebox has no structure, therefore no flick.  the sole is thinner than the regular blazer so, and is flopped out by the 3rd day.  

the rubber around the toe is already fading fast, and i've only skated them for 5 days.  they're not going to last with all the seems everywhere, i feel like they're going to blow out just looking at them.

don't buy them.  don't let them get away with putting out shitty fucking shoes.  i pity anyone that actually paid box price for these, when they could have got a REAL skate shoe.

they shouldn't be allowed to call these "Blazers", they're not even in the same nebula as a real pair.

The GT blazers certainly don't hold their overall strength as well as actual blazers,  but while they last (maybe 1/3 or 1/4 as long) they are absolutely excellent shoes.  Way too expensive for what they are but probably the most responsive,  funnest shoes I've skated in a very long time.  Go for it if you find a pair for 50-60 bucks.  Could've called them the "GT tennis classics".  Just started skating a pair of non-sb blazer lows today and they actually feel a lot sturdier than the GT ones which is interesting...

i taped around the swoosh shittily and spraypainted with some expensive ass good ass spraypaint i found at work.  everyone around here has these stupid things, and i just wanted to be different **sticks tongue out**  **is almost 30**



i've calmed a bit since that last post, but i'll better summarize it:  it's a junk ass shoe at the price it's sold at

plain and fucking simple


if box price was 50 bucks, so you could get it on sale 3 months later for 27.99 you'd have an OK shoe.  still not something i'd vouch for, when i'm sure that 27.99 will get you something better.

i've also never had a shoe with NO reinforcement on the toe cap like that, and i'm not with it.  it feels flimsy, and just isn't as protective, i feel like my foot is gonna get fucked up if i fuck up.  it just feels like junk.

couple that with the even slimmer sole than a normal blazer, and it just feels like nothing... and not in a good way.

I just put these NB# PJ Stratford 533 into my skate rotation. I skated about 5 pair of the previous Stratford and there's no comparison. Just like the Logan and the rest of the catalog, NB# couldn't have turned this into a better shoe. The overall fit has been improved, the heel lock is GREATLY improved, the midsole feels a little beefier to me and the RevLite outsole is my favorite. NB# is killing it and making great skate shoes.

I only have a little over 2 hours on these but on a fresh sheet of grip and there is literally nothing showing.

Ooof, looking really good. Can't wait till the NB skate line is available in Holland.

Na, they fit fine, the tongue is fitted into the shoe and the eyelets sit a little higher than your average skate shoe so they are a little closer together. If that make sense.

Ah funny! I ordered some BA's in that exact colorway today! I'm not sure how i feel about the pink but they were half the price so i couldnt let them pass. Best skate shoe for me right now. A little glue on the toe and they last a long time too.
