hey guys i'm going to order some shoes and i'm wondering which ones would work ou better, should i get
the es accelerates
or the emerica westagate cc's?
and on a side note does anyone know how the es sizing works, i wanted to buy the accels first but they fit tight, i tried them at a 13 but they felt like some size 12 etnies i tried on, so i'm wondering if the accelrates have the same problem. any advice on the matter would be appreciated. also i would also try the figgys too, so figgys vs westgate cc's is also a comparison i need some outside advice on.

The blue/white and the white/black/white are Griffins, and the brown one is the new MJ xlk

figgy usually fit true to size. westgate cc seems to have the same toe as the romero laced (wich is fucking sick for flicking the board in my opinion). westgate fits true to size for me.

got the new Ès swifts and they seem to run a half size smaller, although i don't mind cause i like my shoes snug. i also wear the accel slim wich runs a half size small from what i heard but i feel like they fit true to size for me.

i think the accelerate would be the longest lasting option from what i heard and saw from friends!

does that answer your questions or does it read like weird blabber nonsense?

it does, so with the ES how small does it run? because i have flipper feet and i refuse to buy a size 14 anything, so as much as i like the ES's i think i might have to get the emericas if they run too small. so if you had to get the figgys or the westgates which would be your pick?

It's a damn shame that the SE Bruin was so short-lived. I found a pair of the blood red ones at Ross for 40 bucks months ago. Wish I stocked up when I could.

Bought these today :) Nice to have blazers again. The support/comfort of these is better than any other shoes I have had

For real, where did you get those.
[close]

They are also at Blue Tile Lounge, I am pretty sure they provide reasonable shipping to the states. With the current exchange rate, they are going for almost $74 USD.
barely any sizes left though

Thanks Lakai for continuing to put the rubber toe on the owens. They look sick.
Also, are those a pair of marc johnson's new shoe but with a XLK sole?

i'm currently skating a pair of blazer GT lows and i really like them. good sole and suede, everythings quite nice and i really like the way they skate. but i got them for 22 which i couldn't pass on. the only thing i hate is that the laces constantly rip, evem though i put glue on them in all affected areas and i cant find no olive green laces anywhere. also i had to shoe goo the swoosh back on on both shoes because the fucking stitching isnt anywhere enough.

I didn't have any problems with the laces ripping but I found that the sole was kinda slippery

22 is a steal. They're good shoes, just not worth the retail of $80. They're real thin, like super thin suede. I had to shoe goo my pair and switch the laces out a couple times. I probably won't be getting another pair soon.
Just got these SE premium bruins in and damn they blow the GT's out of the water. Nike killed it with the premium line but it was short-lived. I'm grabbing these and the SE blazers every time I see a pair for a good price. ;D

I've just about totally burned through my GTs and I liked them, but, like both of you, I wouldn't pay retail again. I also put lunarlon insoles in them and they were soon good. Has anyone seen these popping up in Nike outlets yet?
There were some in nike outlets near me for $50 a pair. Too bad I couldn't make it there, $50 for blazers when the recommended price for canada is $110 is a screaming deal

good question. tried skating the figgys, but they were too stiff but seemed as they would have lasted me good. westgate feels a little softer right out the box, but i only tried them on once.

but i think as the overall shoe i think i would like the westgate cc more than the figgy- but it's personal preference. though i think that the figgy is a shoe with a really long toe box, so when you are size 14 the would definetly look even bigger.

es fit true to size even if everyone said they run a half size small.

the navy toecapped Owen is for holiday, should be out by November maybe? no toecap for spring though.
Yep, Mj xlk, they fit/lock in your foot so much better than the regular MJ. I'm skating some Halen samples right now, it was a fall 15 sample but they might have scrapped it, anyways, it has the same sole and it feels pretty damn good, these MJ's will be rad for sure!

damn, this is a hard decision, i like the look of the figgys but i think they would be too thin at the top and would hurt like a motherfucker, so pretty much if the es's fit true to size is there a padding difference in between the cc's and the accelerates? and if it's true the accelerates last longer i might just have to get those.

Yeah I saw them in the Nike outlets for $65. Thats the reason why I asked how people felt about the shoe for the price. But the nike outlets had the gt blazer in black and white

they also had og blazer High sb's in Michigan colors

fuck.  someone ship me some 9's.

GT Blazers grew on me... not worth the price, only worth it on discount.  The SE line does blow that shit out of the water.

They're fine, true to size and all that... HOWEVER, after a full day of walking, like taking the bus, walking around campus, back home, through Target, etc... Fuck these shoes. My achilles is bloody. I said somewhere else on here before they came out, "that heel looks painful." I think 144p had them and said no, heel was fine. My bloody ass heel disagrees.

I usually grab a butter knife and rub the edged side along the heel a bunch to soften it, or griptape?

Have had to use this method on almost every pair of Janoski Mids i have skated.

If same as OG, not like the Lynx S. Then DC it is.

They should also drop the Avatar as well. Black/Red/White leather.

I have a small inventory of Lakai Howard to skate through. When they were closing them out I got a little carried away bc I loved them so much.  ;D Been skating the hell out of this pair recently. Damn shame they discontinued them.

I have a small inventory of Lakai Howard to skate through. When they were closing them out I got a little carried away bc I loved them so much.  ;D Been skating the hell out of this pair recently. Damn shame they discontinued them.

those were the ONLY model of Lakai I ever liked ... and by liked, I mean they were really awesome.  was a great shoe.

Agreed Art. Totally a great shoe. Complete bummer they put a bullet in this one. I understand brands have to kill off shoes that aren't selling well, but it seemed like Lakai didn't keep these around long at all.
