havent skated a lakai model since the Howard (desert boot)... these are a great simple vulc.  actually seem like a vulc version of the Howard (very similar toe).  I think I prefer the XLK cupsole, but these are definitely a quality shoe.

I'm usually a straight vans guy but since getting knee surgery eras been hurting my knee for obvious reasons so I decided to try these Nike dunks I got at Ross for thirty. Tongues are super puffy do these things flatten out? Other than that the support feels good

Just copped these for $15 at a Ross (Cons CTS OX).

Probably my favorite skateshoe of all time. Lunarlon is the best thing since sliced bread.

I'm pretty sure at this point ( as it's been discussed in multiple threads ) only the sole tech brands are still skater owned.  So if you're wearing anything other than those, you're supporting a large non-skate corporation of some sort    Someone please chime in if I'm wrong on that as I actually am curious

The company also owns health and auto insurance companies, other investment firms, and walk-in clinics among others. So yeah, put your money where it makes a difference! yea, but who initially sold in bulk discount to the mall stores and undercutted skate shops for that Zumiez/mall shop money?  the "skate" brands definitely do not have clean hands nor have they always had the local shop's interests in mind.

This is how I feel.  Currently I have a few pair of Es, Adidas, Nike, Huf, Vans and even a pair of Globe sitting here so I just spread the love, haha.  And honestly the quality of all skate brands went up a lot after Adidas/Nike came in as they were forced to to have a chance at competing.  So I hope that when it's all over if the big corps pull out we will be left with higher quality shoes from the skater influenced companies that are left.  And we've been here before ... some will make it
