GTs? Not that long. SE High Tops? Forever.

Yep, one of the best shoes you'll skate. Tried out a pair after a few pals talked about how good they are (mostly iwshilvdnfinland).

I wish i could skate my pair, i love the look and feel but my feet needs some more impact cushioning than a vulc sole... They do take a beating like no other. Most bullet proof shoe i ever had.

they're the greatest shoes I've ever skated, bar none. a very kind Pal hooked me up with a pair of the SEs with the screened toe cap... been skating in them 4 times week for almost a month now. I swear they're better now than they were when they were newer.  this could be my 50th pair of them (been skating them nonstop, one after another since 2006, with little breaks in between to skate Vans or Lakais... lost count after the 40th pair)

they are (sadly) the best.

DUDE, that was the colorway of my first blazers!! Jesus, so many good times I had with that shoe and they lasted FOREVER, like a full year and a few months of skating and chilling (I was never that hard on shoes tho). I even kept them full of holes for nostalgic reasons.

I even used them for a painting ahah

Jordick - your Breakpoints look great! How grippy are the soles?
They're the grippiest cupsoles I've had to date, even though I've only had Project BA's, Emerica Leo Laced, and HUF Dylans. I wouldn't say they're quite on par with a vulc shoe, but still grippy enough to where you don't feel like you're slipping around (like a Leo)

Maybe the skate ones are different? they're sewn on the inside, feel thick and everything. Even the website I got em of of said they were cupsole. And they have the same insole that the non-skate chucks have, and I walk a lot in them, whereas last time I wore non-skate chucks with that insole, my feet were bleeding after one basketball game.

Nah, they all have the same outsoles and insoles... The staight flat glued ones that are nothing special. The regular chuck insoles are harder than those.
All you have to do to find if your soles are vulc or cup is to find a end to the foxing tape (usually in the back or the inner side of the foot). That means the foxing is "glued" to the sole = vulc.

I bet your breakpoints have that little overlap under the inner chevron.

hey ya'll i just found some shoes on sale and i need some opinions, which shoes do you think are better?
busenitz adv, nike lunar janoskis, or should i pony up the money and get some adidas sucius? the busenitz looks a little to thin but the janoskis and the sucius are a toss up.

sucius if you want boardfeel and comfortability, busenitz if you want impact protection. they are both have a lot of stability.

 :-*

The campus vulc/cv mid were my shoe for a few years, I was so bummed I missed that first colorway Busenitz was rocking before his pro model came out.  Feeling that color way on those blazers btw!

those silas's were the only adidas i ever had that i liked

Damn, that's rough I've only had 1 pair of adidas I didn't like and it was because I went smaller than I should have.  Better luck then I've had with any other shoe company.

All of this being said, I'm really happy I decided to jump on these superstars for $45, so far they are pretty amazing

I miss seeing new colourways in the OG Campus Vulc. The first few runs had some awesome colours.

Would grab a few pair if this color way ever came back out, they are kind of ugly but for some reason I love them

If Adidas released the Campus Vulcs I would probably never skate another shoe again. Maybe the occasional pair of Old Skools, but really, I'd probably never need another shoe.

Just picked these up at Proof Lab skateshop, the guys working there suckered me into it by giving me a student discount, clever bastards. They look like Forest Gump's Cortez shoes so I'll be wearing them with a tan suit in the future for sure.
