Just forgot about the city cups, they're not for my feet. Bought those Busenitz RX instead.

They feel amazing!
Its like they corrected some little stuff on the OG ones while adding some extras. The tongue is a little slimmer and just has the right amount of padding. They have some kind of eva layer under the insole that feels nice. Tongue centering straps (finally) because the tongue usually goes always to the sides and it gets quite annoying. And then my favourite little extra is the material they used on the heel lining, its mono-directional and it feels like a cat-tongue. Its basically slippery in the way in and grippy in the way out, so it helps to lock in your foot better.

Is the suede on the ollie area of that shoe 1 layer thick or two?  It looks like the inside still has the overlay but the outside doesn't.  If that is doubled up in the ollie area that would be bad ass as I loved the Bus ADV but went through the side real quick on them

Uhmmto be honest I'm not 100% sure but if looks like its only one layer. But it also looks a little bit thicker and better quality, since its pig suede. The good part of this clean version is that there's no seams on the abrasion areas and I would always blow out that in the OG, even the eyestay would start detaching.

I’m hoping to get the bus rx soon, so thanks for the review. I’m skating a pair of the advs now that I got on eBay, and 2 Pairs of pros on deck for the spring. These sound amazing. With the padding under the insole, is the heel still raised? And also, please tell me the toe shape is the same as the pro’s? Best flick of any shoe imho.

The padding under the insole from my undertanding is just that they switched the stroble (what the upper is stitched to) from the regular cloth material to some kind of foamy material, really thin but feels nice. No extra hight or less.
Toe shape is exact same as the OG, best flick in the game.

i got the city cups yesterday and i will agree with whoever said they should go in the wide foot thread. i havent gotten to skate in them yet but i really like the fit so far.

skating the same in black/white. Super nice shoe and also toebox is a little wider that the OG's. Solid and good looking all around

I haven't tried either of the Suciu shoes yet so I can't speak to those and I haven't been able to skate the city cups yet, but I'm really diggin them for walking around in and it looks like all Lucas has been skating since they've dropped.  I'd just suggest half size down if you like a more snug shoe ( but they will still have some wiggle room in the toe box from what I've read, I enjoy this, others don't really )

i love the shoe, HATE the insole. always stick some OG boozy insoles in there with the FP heel tabs underneath. makes them perfect for me personally. almost fits somewhat like a mid because of the difference of thickness in the insoles.
