Second pair of these. I remember I bought a pair earlier this year and thought they fit way too narrow and couldn't break them in. I almost gave up on them until a friend bought them and swore by them. Sure enough, I tried again and loved them after a few more sessions. These came in today and I was prepared to have to tough it out again for a few sessions, but right out of the box they felt great and I had a great first session. This is probably gonna be a regular repeat buy from me.

Are those shoes inexpensive? I have a homie who's had a couple pairs (maybe 3?) and they didn't seem to last that long.

Anyone know how the Cons JP's fit?  Are they similar to CTAS?

I got these for like 70. I won't pretend they're tanks, but they're no less durable than any other low profile vulc shoe I've had. I was very pleased with my previous pair.

Mystical Leader - are those the indoors soccer shoes that BA and AO were skating pretty consistently a few years ago?  I think BA has an ad with a front side wall ride where the swoosh is over the toes and I’m not a big Nike fan but always thought that it looked really cool.

Couldn't find the picture so I'm not sure. But I remember some footy of Gino wearing something similar and he was part of my inspiration try different shit. I think AO mostly skated the Nike Sb Gato which is a modified version of an indoor football shoe..

Some reserve reynolds. Got them for just wearing out and around since I didn't have any shoes for just chilling that didn't have holes, I was surprised how many people asked me where I got them. They're really comfy and I like how the white looks with pretty much anything.

Been skating Dunks and DC Legacy Slims while rocking some Kyle Walker Pro’s for casual wear.

Why is the Vans Wafflecup/ultracush combination so trash? I had the same experience with the Crockett 1 Mids, the insole has absolutely no stepping comfort and even with my trusty FP Orthotics, their overall comfort is just barely adequate. Wafflecup construction just feels like a vulc sole with a more rigid back half of the shoe

I actually really liked the first Ultrarange pro and while the cushioning still wasn’t necessarily “plush”, it still had a true midsole that felt supportive and lightweight. These shits feel the exact opposite

The shoe has a nice shape and I’m looking forward to how the toe’s gonna flick once I get around to skating them but goddamn, outside of aesthetics, it’s kind of a shitty offering for a pro model shoe if you compare it to any other cupsole pro model out there

Agreed. I don't know how/why it's been a thing for so long. Lunarlon is a good replacement if you have some extras for when they pack down.

These may be decade and half old but they will skate better and last longer than most of today shoes.
They also look better.

Ha! I had that exact color in the 90's and they died so quick. Also fit kind of awkward. I love Sole Tech, and those shoes looked fresh (especially the white suede/black outsole/gum bottom), but if they skated good I would have bought them again. Maybe the 2003 version was better?
