After breaking them in walking around at work the last week, I skated my new Figgy Dose’s today and man are these things rad. Didn’t think I’d dig the look of the slightly pointed toe but they’ve grown on me. The cupsole protection is definitely there, and the outsole is grippier than what I’m used to but it’s a good thing.

Want to try a pair for sure

Im skating a pair right now, and love them too. At first I thought they would be too pointy, but after skating for a little bit, they kinda molded the way I like them. And the sole is fantastic.

Cushion wise, are they comparable to the 1's? Because I skated 3 days straight in those and couldn't walk for a week after.

They're in between the first Figgy and the Reynolds, thicker than his first shoe for sure.

Been skating these New Balance 345's for awhile, will have to retire them soon due to the sole getting worn out and the toe losing its flick/developing a hole on the side. These were my second NBs I've skated, and they were quality shoes for sure. Thanks Rothdigga for including these in my contest package, I was hyped.

Can anyone help with shoe recommendations? Haven't loved a pair of shoes in many years. I like some ankle protection, a durable flick area, have a relatively narrow foot, like my shoes snug, and want something thicker than some Chucks.

I've been skating Vans Pro mid 112 style for under a month and the outter soles already wearing out, the stitching is already undone and they're stretched. Aside from the shit durability I like em. Before this I had the Lakai Proto, which lasted 6 months. Great park shoe, but pushing any significant amount of blocks would give the worst heel blisters. Before that I had Busenitz Vulc, and the tongue stitching was undone within a couple days.

Frustrating because these shoes are not cheap, yet their quality is. Lookin for something decent. Shalom.

Nike vulcs are really narrow for me. Maybe try Blazer mid or high?

Not sure about the ankle protection but would recommend trying out State. In my experience they are better than vans in every way.

yeah, I don’t hate State, but there’s no way every single person that wears their shoes isn’t digging pebbles out of their shit mid-session. It’s a design fault and it should be fixed.
I liked the pair I had though, and the designs (while simple) are well thought out for the most part. If they made a (vegan) cupsole, I’d be giving them lots of my hard earned

First set of Laced for the year, trying something new and cut out the tongue straps. They feel lighter and look really slim now. I kinda dig it

Yeah they have molded to my feet perfectly and I can slip them on and off really easy. I like a non-slip on shoe that can do that. I don’t find these to fit snug enough without the laces, I definitely use them.
